I had written to the forum administrator that the origin of Jats as given in the 'introduction' and 'History' section of this website is incorrect. But it has not been changed so far. The site still cites the history as written by some Col Todd and other colonialists. Much research has been done since then. At least the 'Aryan Invasion Thoery' on which this whole 'pogrom' is based, has no historical basis. In fact, archeological, literary, linguistic, astronomical and geographical evidence clearly establish that all Indians were (are) very much indegenous people.

Sampuran, I agree with you that we should start looking at these theories from critical point of view. These days lot of new studies(regarding drying of Saraswati, more internal evidences from ritual texts etc) show that AIT is based on loose assumptions.
Similarly Indo-Scythian theory for Jats, though true to the extent that of course there was inter-mixing of races due to migrations, is not very convincing(atleast to me)... These days lot of efforts are carried out by Indians to undo the damage done by colonist portrayer of India in west. Subhash Kak's writings are my favorite(specially those on ancient Indian sciences, we invited him in our campus in March for a talk)
