I am curious to know about the history of Jatrana gotra.

Jatrana is a clan or gotra of Jats found in Uttar Pradesh in India. In Mujaffarnagar Khedagadhi, Datiana and 12 villages, Mannakhedi, Nalasalaroo, Adal Hedi villages in Saharanpur district and Sof, Mayapur villages in Bijnor district are of Jatrana Jats.

45. JATRAK OR JATTARANA
This is also an old gotra. According to "Kautilya's Rather Shastra" they fought against Alexander the Great. According to Alberuni this hilly place called Chittor ( Jattaur) was the capital of the Jattrana. They have 12 villages in Delhi area. They call themselves descendents of Tur. They have about 80 villages near Bhivani.
