Jatland Wiki - History/People section

Hi

Just wanted to let every one know that the Wiki (http://www.jatland.com/home/) now allows all members to contribute to and edit the content of the history/people sections... You need to login using the members area username/password...

We are aware of the error. Just press refresh when the error appears (Just "Refresh" the internet explorer window, not Back/Forward) and you should be set... Trying to fix this.

May I suggest that any major changes, should be discussed in the relevant section, by members, to achieve some modicum of consensus

It may help avoid some chaos!

I have put in a temporary patch... Works in testing...

You should be set now... Worst case, it will ask you to login twice the first time around, but then should be fine.

1. my username is arun_shamli but the error message above shows the name with out underscore. please check if user id's with "_" are allowed to login?

you got 1. right.. _ gets converted to space, and new registrations can not use the character.. have changed your username.

ref 2, all user authentication happens via the members area... no separate registration form for the wiki.

You should be set now.

Nitin,
Even i have the same problem of underscore in my username. Is there a way you can check the username and modify it accordingly before submitting. Otherwise you need to change all usernames individually.

Speaking of that, please change mine too :)
