Mr. and Miss Jat 2005 Competition:
Participant Eligibility & Program Details:
· Should be an AJA member.
· Age Limit: 13 and above (Bachelors only)
· The participants will be judged on the basis of the following five criteria. Each criterion will be scored from 1-5 where 5 being the highest score.
· Due to the time limitation, this time the program will only be for 30 - 40 minutes so First elimination will be done after the first three criteria and second elimination after the fourth criteria and winner and runners up will be chosen after the fifth criteria.
All participants will be participating in the first three criteria:
1) Outfit/walk/personality/confidence. (Bottom line is how you carry yourself).
2) Tell us about yourself (Introduction for 30 Sec to 60 Sec): What do you do and your hobbies/interests? etc.
3) This criterion is to judge your general awareness and participants will be asked to answer the objective type questions on a sheet of paper. Topics for the questions are Current affairs, History, Sports, Movies / entertainment and Politics etc. Everyone will be given only two minutes to answer these questions. One mark will be awarded for each right answer and no points for wrong answer.
Only the top 4 participants (who get selected on the base of the result of first 3 criteria) from male and female categories will be participating in the fourth criteria:
4) Show your talent on the stage by performing one of the following: Sing a song, perform a dance, mimicry or tell us a joke etc. (The maximum score for a joke would be three as the degree of difficulty is less as compared to others.)
5) This final criterion is to let the judges know more about you. Each participant will be asked one question. Marks will be awarded based on the judge’s decision and winner and runners up will be chosen based upon their overall score.
Note: Participants please bring their song CD or cassette if they will be performing a dance in the 4th criteria as shown above.
