Really a fabulous gathering! Kudos to Col. Tevatia and team! Especially thankful to the Jatnis (Sushma, Sunita, Anita, Diksha, Amrita and all the rest who may have toiled for days to take care of every last detail in order to make the event successful and the guests feel welcome. Mrs. Tevathia’s warm hospitality made the evening extra special. Kids involvement as well as artistic performance was impressive. It was a monumental task but well executed, truly enjoyed it! We look forward to many more such gatherings.
Thanks everyone for a splendid evening!

Dear All,
I am a very satisfied person after the successful conduct of AJA Diwali Function.
I congratulate the Winners of Mr. and Ms. Jat 2005 Competition. The title of Mr. Jat was won by Mr. Jagdish Repaswal who amused every one with his dancing skills, while the Ms. Jat title was won by Ms. Mahima Singh. The competition was well fought as the points difference between the candidates was less than one point. The biggest achievement was the enthusiasm shown by the younger generation. While last year, the organizers were calling people to participate, this year it was participants who came forward on their own and conducted themselves with confidence.
Organizing such a big function in an efficient manner takes a lots of time of the organizers. I would be failing in my duties if I don't mention the hard work put up by our organizing team. Sanjay Roperia and Amrita were outstanding in organizing each and every aspect of the funtion. Sandeep Varma was not behind by taking over the responsibility of the entertainment programs. Bhavna Rathi, Nisha Singh, Mohita and Mansi all contributed their best to make the event successful. And in the end to wind up the event and leave the hall in its original shape was the work well shared by most of the members. It was overwhelming to see members taking over themselves to clean up the area and help organizers in closing the event. Many many thanks to all of you for your contribution.
We have already announced the date and venue for the next event. Our aim is to further improve on our performance and your criticism and suggestions will help us in achieving higher standards. Kindly feel free to write me email with your observations and suggestions to improve the future events.
I am thankful to our members who inspite of their busy schedule drove down all the way from Virgina, Maryland and Washington D.C. areas to attend the function. Thank you very much for making it.
The next function will be annual picnic. The event will be conducted at Jamesburg, NJ park on 1st of July 2006. Please mark your calender and ensure you make it this time. We assure you, that you will enjoy it.
Once again thanks to all the members for attending the function and helping organizers. My sincere thanks to my highly motivated and efficient team. Me and my wife are extremely grateful to the community for showing so much of love and affection. Thank you very much.

Dear Dahiya Ji,
Thanks a lot for your appreciation. It is all team effort. The biggest contribution has been from the members who made it to the event and enjoyed. I may be one of the few lucky person who has got a vibrant team, which "never says die". We have a young brigade running the show, I am just a figure head. I am really proud of our team.
We wish to further improve on the event. Many members could not make it this time. My sincere effort is to get every one and that is why have announced the dates of the next function now.
We will be very happy if people from India visiting here join us on July 01, 2006.

Hi Everybody
I live in Woodbridge, NJ & came to know of this association recently. Well, I always knew about punjabi association annd gujju associations in US but always wondered if there was a jat association here.
When I found it finally, I was proud to see my community coming together in US.
I am interested in joining it.
Can some one please tell me the procedure to join it?
Thanks

Dear Mr. Chickara,
By virtue of being a Jat, you are automatically member of this association. All you need to do is to send me your mailing address, email and phone number so that invitation to the next function can be extended to you. You can call me on my office number at 732-940-9200 or on my home phone number given in my profile here. You can also send me email at veerutav@optonline.net
Please do let me know if you need any further help. I have just opened my new office and some times you may not find me on the office phone so please don't get disappointed. Send me email and I shall send you my cell phone number as well.
Heartiest welcome to the association of Jats.
