Gehlotji, comments se kya hoga... it will nead whole lot of discussion...

I have a request about Jat history section. Please don't throw in random links and rumors about connection of Jats to other parts of world... Claims like this should accompany proper source where you came across it.. if you have genuine questions, other members should answer them academically... I am saying this, because History section his been cited in other forums like india-forum.com where people blame that Jats in Jatland are proud of their foreign origin... whish is not the case...

So please try to quote the source where you read these things... In summer I read a book "Huns, Mongols and Vikings", it doesn't have any reference to Jats... there is no account of massive migrations from Russian steppe, they were too busy with Roman empires... and after Attila's death they were reduced to powerless tribes...
Still there might have been small migration to northwest provinces but it needs solid proofs to state that Jats have huns' blood...

Sangwan sahab....thanks for ur input....my aim was not to start any rumors...just clarifications....well if that is wrong...i apologize...plus history is also a matter of speculation upto some extent....and what is wrong in being proud of your origin....and i agree this matter needs constructive discussion and not just comments...which I am ready for....Thanks

Dear members,
While its good to know about our possible history but lets not demean ourselves by trying to find link with anything foreign. Aur jaisa Sampuran Singh ji ne kaha hai, we are Indians first and then anything else.

Cheers,

Gehlotji, I didn't mean that there is anything wrong with discussion... I just wanted to say that its easy to talk about when source of information is also provided.. e.g. if somebody puts some material from propaganda website like dalistan.org, it should be outrightly neglected because these kind of info is put on web by mischievous elements.... just wanted to caution... nothing wrong in discussion... lets do it..
