Dear Jagdish,

Thanks a lot for posting the photographs of the function. I hope those who could not attend it due to busy schedule will enjoy it as well as those who were part of this great event.

Once again thanks a lot. Ensure you bring your camera for the Picnic also on 1st July 2006.

kam hai !

Ji haan. Time for an eye checkup would you say ? Sorry to be the one
to break this news. Aur itni zyaada saaf nazaar aa rahi thi toh
contacts bhi kaam nahin denge. You'll have to settle for those
huge thick telescopic glasses. Hmm...reminds me of that Indian
t.v. serial that was a hit...with that girl with big specs....:(

Sorry Miss. Somebody had to break the news to you. I guess
it had to be me. :p ;)

Dear Deepshika,
Welcome to Jatland. I agree with Mr. Rathi that the photos are not very clear as their are not many close ups. You will be surprised, the kids enjoyed a lot. The young girls presented group dances for which they actually practiced for weeks. And mind you most of them had been working full time or student full time. It was creditable for these young girls to spend so much time to entertain the community. The function was a great success.

To you these audiances may be looking "Pit ke baitha rakhe hain", while actually they are engrossed watching the performances of the young Jat Boys and Girls. The participation of young children was amazing.

I agree with you, there were no Pathake, but the purpose was to organize a meeting for the entire community. Essentially, Diwali is the function of lights and that was ensured. The food was good and sweets were in plenty. We got a very encouraging feed back from every one who participated.

We will try and get the "Pathakhe" next time if possible and permitted by the local administration.

Kindly let me know some suggestions to improve the celebrations.
