Hi! Gentle ppl,

Well, I'm pleased to tell u that recently I attended a Jat officers Diwali get together this Sunday eve & felt really great to see sucha big gathering there, lots of high profile Jats were there; even our very own Jatlander 'Vira Ram Jayani' was also there, He was actually rewarded for his achievement, congrats!!

Btw, my main motto is to tell u ppl that even Jat officers chapter has a website as well, kinda pleasent surprize for me but I felt really nice about it, so u all can visit'em at - www.jatforum.com

Although its not like Jatland at all but this site contains lotta imp information about active Jats here in Rajasthan, so I think it'll be benifital for all distant Rajasthani Jats n kinda matter of bliss for all the Jats around!

Chaudhary thats what they call JATS in rajasthan.I was once in bikaner and few of the people asked me my name and i proudly told my name the ful name as usual so they asked kahan se ho bhai, well in the same aarogant tone i replied i m from haryana and then further they cud easilly make out who i m, so they further enquired " chaudhary ho bhai" i said no JAt:)
One of them quickly replied ya same and they moved from there quickly:D

here in Rajsthan plenty of JAts use Choudhary as thier sir name even I was pet named Choudhary-saab n commondo-choudhary but this is also tru many of bangali, baniye n muslim ppl also use choudhary so sabse acha to apana JAT sirname hi hai!

Rajathan mein apne naam ke peechey surname hata kar "chaudhary" laga lena chahiye. It's more effective than ur surname.

When in Rajasthan, do like Rajasthani do!!

It's good to hear Navin ji that Choudhary peeche lagalena chahiye ...... but i must tell you that .... Jats normally surname change nahi karte hai bus naam se pheele Ch. langate hai to address someone .... like Ch. Naveen Farswal .... and peeche to koi bhi choudhary lagaleta hai not only Jats so peeche Choudhary lagalene se koi fayada nahi hai.
