fake IDs and Jatland

Dear Members and Administrator,

all of you may be aware from this fact that some people are using FAKE IDS to disturb/entertain at jatland. in such a way they are disturbing the harmony of this useful site. could there may have any solution to save this site from Fake Ids. ?

Dev Bhai is right. Fair weather clouds dont last long. Freeloaders and nuissance will vanish when people dont find any thing useful in their posts, and dont pay a heed.

By letting new people register based on only a referral from an existing jatland member.

This can help to a great extent.

There may not be a foolproof method on open site, but few preventive measures may reduce the chances, at least make it difficult for fake ids to create nuisance on site:

1. Photograph & name (no pet name) without this one cannot post.
2. Origin details in Profile-
· Village name compulsory
· Permanent address compulsory.

3. Telephone no. is preferable

Ref. may not be the best option; it will no longer remain a open site. Reason- in my case, I chanced upon this site not that I got to know from somewhere. And there may be many like me.

first of all if a jat is in iceland and dont know anybody on jatland how he ll look for refferal
secondly would it be safe for girl members to give their address and phone number??

Problem becomes too much typical when an already registered member uses fake ID because he/she is well familiar and know how to provoke the felling of other member.

Basic contact info like village and district name can be asked at the time of registration. There is no harm. Every member’s IP address should be stored, and whenever a new member registered himself/herself at jatland than his/her computer’s IP address should be compared with already stored IP numbers. If it is found matching than he/she should be blocked or should be asked about the reference of the member who is already logging from the same IP address.

Bhai Mukesh, doing all this require a lot of work....and I am not sure if the administrator have all the resources to do it.....

secondly, In most of the cases IP address are dynamic, which mean everytime you connect to the internet , you may get a new IP address. only few people will have the static IP address.
and I think jatland.com already ask the registered users to give the personal information and many people have given their phone number and address. but that information is optional. and I do not think anyone can be forced to do that.

lastly, why should it bother anybody? It is just an assumption that people create fake id's and sometimes assumption are not the real fact. and even if someone create a fake id, it can not be stopped technically. and I do not think there is a genuine need to do so.

Dear Mukesh,
The simplest solution is excercise restrain and just don't get disturbed by provocations. Fake people have very little life. So just move on with the life.
