Hi All
In this particular society when a boy became 21-25 years old then their parents thinks that his marriage age has over (Specially low educated people). So, they are accepting Child Marriage. This is the same case of girl. If the age of their daughter became 17-21, they think her daughter marriage age has over.

When, I searched about it, I found that for this thinking there is a cause and this cause is boy and girl ratio. Especially in these area Delhi, Haryana, Western U.P., there is a very vast gap between boy and girl ratio.

But, this problem has started from 90’s and Child Marriage is happening from the last 100 years. Actually, Now, Child Marriages are mainly found in Pakistan & in India in North Indian state like Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, J & K, Gujarat, Western U.P., Punjab.

These are the main places that were belong to Mugal Emperor……….

To protect them, Child Marriage has started and continued at the British rule and even today also.

You all will be surprised to know that, till 50’s means at the time of India’s Independence Child Marriage had not only limited, it is also happening now-a-days.

According to my search the main cause of this is literacy.
As we can understand by a Survey’s Report conducted at Harkesh Nagar, New Delhi.
This is the situation of urban area of New Delhi. The city of President, the city of Prime Minister and the city of Media. So, we can imagine what is happening in the villages.

THE SURVEY REPORT:

During this search, met with some students, who are studying professional courses. A boy from Harkesh Nagar, Now he is studying MBA. He is 22 years old and he has 2 children. First child is 4 years old. Ques asked from him “Why this is happening?”, but have not got any genuine reply from that boy. But, i think that they are just following their tradition, bcoz, according to him, in there family, that was happening from so many years.

During this research, i found many problems regarding “Child Marriage” that is totally different according to Govt. and other NGO’s surveys…
You all are most welcomed to tell your views about, “ child-marriage” or related issues…

Dear Pragati Choudhary,

Your thread above contains so many grammatical mistakes, punctuation errors, lack of brevity of words and some 'short-cuts' which make this article of yours a good example of 'desi angrezi'. I have seen your other threads also where, at a couple of places, you have used short-cuts such as "i wanna a". Please see the red portions below which require editing. If you write such an essay or article (thread) in some school examination or at a competive examination, it would only result in fetching low marks due to these grammatical errors, though the theme of the topic and ideas which you are trying to convey, may be excellent.

It happens that when a person is on-line and replying to threads etc., some typing mistakes may occur on account of using the keyboard in a hurried manner. I have also committed a few typing mistakes at the time of replying to threads - though these are known after submitting the reply. So, whenever you intend to post a long article on the Internet, first save it in a file (MS Word or some other programme) and before sending, read it thoroughly a couple of times and do the necessary editing.

Short-cuts such as 'bcoz', 'plz' and "i wanna a" are generally used at the time of on-line chat between two friends. Use of such terms in articles gives a poor taste. Instead of 'Hi all" (which is again in poor taste), "Dear members" is preferable.

It seems that, fascinated by the good response of your thread "Search for the Tallest Girl in Jatland", you have posted the current thread "Child marriages...." You see - the response so far is nil.

You seem to be a brilliant student and have the resources of using modern technologies like Internet. But my humble advice to you is that please do not use the Jatland forum just for fascination - but for getting others' views and spreading yours. All of us have high hopes from the new generation and you are a part of it.

So, my daughter, please do not mind - this is just for your encouragement and not to discourage you. I would like to see your threads with more polished English (or even Hindi in Roman letters).

If you need the corrected version of your article under reference, please send me an e-mail, rather than reacting in this thread. I would be happy to answer your queries.

With best wishes,

Dayanand Deswal

Dear dayanand ji
You gave nice advise about some points, but i think this is not a big issue, it could happen with anyone of us, because anyone in a hurry use short-cut, but it could not be used in a article, your that suggestion is right & i will take care of it in future. As you wrote about spellings,i wrote it in a hurry & directly here, just not copy & paste from some other format. I just wrote it & sent it, so spelling mistake is not a big problem & as you said that no-one gave a reply of this topic and there are so many replies on the other topic, i think, its a matter of personal interest.
You are much elder to me, i am requested you politly that plz don't have a habbit to see only mistakes, pick out the positive points, notice the theme (its not only about my article but about anyone's)...agar aap sirf galtiya nikalne ke liye padenge to galti to aapko is reply me bhi kahi na kahi nazar aa jayegi aur galti to aapko is site per har kisi ke article me nazar aa jaigi.:)
Healthy criticism is always good, but don't be so negative, just trying to develop a positive attitude.......
