Leadership has to be in blood and it can not be imposed from outside. Look at Dev Gauda Jr. who revolted against father and became CM of Karnatka. After reading about him I feel that he might turn out to be far better leader than people like Dharam Singh. Rahul Gandhi has not shown any signs of leadership so far. Compare him with Sanjay Gandhi, who transformed Congress after 1977. Though Rajiv Gandhi entered politics very late, but he was far better a mass leader. He had a dream for India and worked to fulfil it. As of now I won't put my bet on Rahul Gandhi.

Dear Members

Its a bit unfortunate for InDian politics and congress that they need Gandhi Family on every step. Rahul Gandhi who spend most of his time in Videsh is now the strong candidate for the Post of PM in India. He enjoyed all the luxury things in his life in VIdesh and return to India when his mother acquired Congress. Now he will soon be appointed on any post in congress and gandhi family is building a platform for him.
In my own words i havent seen any capabilities in Rahul so far.

I think he comes across as an arrogant and immature individual. His statement that he could have been PM had he wanted and the body posture during his speech in congress plenary session clearly shows that (he used very humble language in the speech but his posture said a lot).

Dear All,

Rahul Gandhi will wait till the Congress party is defeated in many states, including UP in the next elections. Then the old guard of Congress (some of them relics of the past) will appeal to Rahul Gandhi to save the party from oblivion and country fron disaster. Then the Prince will come riding a white horse. Remember Renuka Chaudhary crying in the central hall of Parliament when Sonia Gandhi refused to become PM.

Actually the fact is that both Sonia & Rahul are individuals of limited intellect. 'Andhon mein Kaane'. Greatness has been thrust on them due to historical reasons. Add to that the psychophancy factor so very dominant in Congress culture. Have you ever seen a Gandhi fighting elections from a constituency that has higher percentage of literates? They will always fight from constituencies where people still think that Indira was Mahatma Gandhi's daughter!!! Let them try their luck from Lucknow, Gandhinagar, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai etc. They will know their leadership benchmark. But they won't because the aura of Nahru - Gandhi Khandaan has to be kept alive.

JS Malik

What Col Jagmohanji says is 100% my opiinion as well.

In interior Karnatak people still dont know that Indira is dead. Last to last election Sushma Swaraj lost against Sonia from Bellary because illiterate poor people thought they were still voting for Indira who 'gives them rice and dhoti'.
