People can gather public support and go for No confidence motion through their elected representatives.
A democratic agitation to draw attention of the public of the area affected in particular and Nation is general would be another alternative. I would be against any agitation that disrupts the public activities.

Dear Sunil:
I dont think it is the problem of the govt; the govt is bound to implement court orders. Or they would be dismissed and somebody else will do it.
At some satge it is not fair to rural people since their previous land compensations will have be recalculated if they were not allowed to construct within lal dora areas. But the village folks have colluded with the corrupt officials and more than reaped the benefits. This is illegal. Whether you like it or not. By opposing this action you are also trying to prevent the corrupt. I think anybody who has anything to do with MCD should be subjected to due legal procedures. The illegal structures should be erased to send a very strong signal. However if the court becomes a little practical it should try to punish the more guilty ones...I dont know who is more guilty. Our people are not very informed on this issue and i think they have been cheated. So some blatant big structures should go and the rest should be spared with strict action.
Sorry for the trouble you may be having. I know it can be very bothersome.
Hope something works out.
Anmol.

[FONT="Palatino Linotype"]I don't know what is happening in the Lal Dora area, however I know one thing for sure: Chori to Chori Hai!
Chori ek paise ki ho ya ek lakh rupiyoun ki, Chori to Chori hai, Hum Aadhe ya Chauthai Chor nahi ho sakte. Hum ya to chor hain ya chor nahin hain.
If that be true, then whether the government only demolishing unauthorized construction of poor or rich really does not matter. All are guilty. Our wrong actions can't be justified just because others are also doing the same and even at a bigger scale.
It is purely because of this reason, one must aim at big be it a good work or bad work as only fittest survive. [FONT]

ed construction by Delhi politicians on Indianexpress website. They are breaking all the laws setup by MCD with help of some corrupt MCD officials. Illegal construction should be removed if public want a better roads and pavements. MCD should also clean itself to improve its creditability by removing all the corrupt officials. But I don't think this is right reason to reject a govt. If something was wrong it should be fixed by somebody and public should not punish govts for doing that.
