I dont know how many of you are aware of the persecution of Nick Griffin of British Nationalist Party for practicing his right to free speach. He is one of the British pioneers fighting against the "Muslim invasion of UK."

I have not looked at the Video and refuse to do so...simply because I live in UK and I know very well what BNP stands for.

Posts like these should be avoided on Jatland..as it serves no purpose here.

We are educated, mature and open minded individuals and we can show a bit more restraint before posting links like these.

You should not have flipped off wihtout even seeing the video. Mr. Griffin says it clearly that the problem in UK is not with Asians. The problem is about muslims.

The thread was clearly posted in the curent affairs section. I guess anything going on in current affairs is entitled to be in this section. Maybe BBC is misreporting on this trial, but it is a big issue in the UK right now.

The muslims have literally invaded Europe. Since you live in the UK, you know the crap that Blacks and Muslims do. They bring their damn third world trash with them. Africans and Muslims have become the supreme enemies of civilization. I completely support BNP and Vlaams Bilang with their endevors.

This is another good example of crookedness of the government. People everywher eincludng Britain take their governmnet on the face value, which is wrong. Divide and rule was the policy of the British government. The British people were the slaves of their own governmnet all the time. Remember they have a class system in the UK just like we have a caste system. The aristocracy that runs that country has no regards for the middle class and other ordinary Britons.

This is the last thing I expected to read on a site like this. Nick Griffin is an extreme right wing politician who is almost like a neo-nazi skinhead with hair and dressed up in a suit.
Today, he is presenting a Muslim question and with his own solutions to it, and tomorrow he will find some other question and its solution.
Free speech is the most misused luxury that we have in the west. This man is a hate monger, supremist, racist "pig"(for a lack of better word). He is exercising the free speech right to spread hatred and creating differences. Race relations are very sensitive, the balance is so easy to break, He is trying to create a France in the UK.
And saying Europe has been "invaded" by immigrants, brings a bad name to the immigrants (immigrants move and not invade).
It is very easy to blame everything on Islamic fundamentalism and fanaticism, without realising why would an ordinary Muslim become a fanatic. France is the best example, having ghettos and unemployment rate of 40% amongst the Muslims lead to fanatisms and riots. Frustration caused by injustice and inequality can make a fanatic out of any sane individual.
The western world is having an anti Islam wave lately which is almost sickening. Stupidities like the recent cartoons will only iginite hatred, I have started to despise European media. And now I get to see pro hatred post on this website, come on lets not support hatred.
And coming to this sickening "Libertarian" fanaticism, I find it nothing more than blaming government for all the miseries without any credible causality (similar to scapegoating Muslims for the terrorism). And I dont know if there is any correlation between racisim and libertarianism, but I have always found these existing with in the same person.
I agree that governments at times do many blunders and get corrupt, but power would corrupt anyone. We need governments not just to protect and govern but also to take care of our less fortunate ones, to regulate the society and keep the hate mongers out of it. And sometimes governments make mistakes or fail to meet with thier purpose but thats the cost one has to pay.
If we have minimal government than the majority of the society will crush the minority, strong will destroy the weak ones, and rich will eat the poor (what good will it be). Ironically, Orwell's Animal farm comes to my mind again, as I think libertarianism will lead to the same fate.
I am happy that the Birtish government did the right thing by shutting him up. And I hope the world and especially the media learns to not blame Mulism but the wrong elements, and show some respect.

I am amazed with the view points expressed by the two shools of thought on this thread.
Firstly, there is nothing wrong in posting any thing current on this site specially the current affairs section. To that extent, Sumit is right.
What has bothered me is the racial stand taken by Sumit on the issue blacks and muslims in particular. Sumit himself is an immigrant in a nation predominantly white, and is talking about the color of skin. He is talking about third world crap, while belonging to the same segment.

Each country have different kind of political parties and in most cases these parties serve only their personal and party political agenda rather than doing some thing for the humanity. Immigration is not a bad thing, but illigal immigration is. If the muslims and blacks have come to Europe on legal immigration then their rights are to be protected. Any one who comes by illigal means to any other country, whether it is Bangladeshi coming to India or Indians going to US or Canada, they need to be dealth with the law on the issue.

I feel hurt when educated people take such stands on racial issues.

I saw the video. It definitely has educational value.....

The recent free speech rhetoric is merely a vehicle to used to legitimize/energize other racist agendas. In this case continued minority discrimination and anti-immigration movements in Europe. Even a political savant like me can sniff that out of the speech. Next week a news story on "cultish idol worship" will fire up the same bigots to get the Indians out.

The irony is that immigration in several European nations has filled a much needed employment gap to save ailing economies in places like Germany. Unfortunately racist movements to preserve "White Europe" and refusal to acknowledge Europe as a melting pot is a continuing problem that the EU will eventually have to deal with. The post on Mittal and the Steel Industry illustrates this issue clearly. So do the problems with getting Turkey into the UN.

Could you please take your racist sentiments elsewhere. What you said is very narrow minded and discriminatory, and its is not wise to make scapegoats out of certain races.
What you are using as an evidence as statistics, and yes they do suggest that jails have more members of certain races. But, these statistics do not talk about the reasons behind it. I would expect any race to be in same shoes if there previous generations witnessed what these races' generations have. You might wanna do some basic research regarding these races and the conditions they face for a better picture.
And please refrain from using such derogatory language for a race or other human beings (at least in public). I can easily draw an analogy between the "criminal" and "menacing" status of Blacks and Moslems in Europe (as suggested by the statistics) to the similar status of Jats in North India. I am sure if we gather statistics we wil find Jails in North India full of Jats, honestly I have not seen anyone else causing as much as mayhem in Delhi as Jats do. This video is not about racism. This video is about a man who was prosecuted for hate speach. What was his hate speach? He said in a lecture that muslims in Bradford area have been abducting white girls and raping them and throwing them into prostitution. Which infact was true. There are widespread media reports on this issue. Muslims are taking charge of the prostitution industry in that country. This man was trying to call attention to this issue.

Rest I do not support BNP on most issues. They are inherently socialist. Which is strongly against my ideals.

If you still did not get my point, let me ask how many of you will marry off your daughters to muslim men?

Also, some of you have noted that how dare I have such sentiments, considering the fact that I am an immigrant myself. First of all let me make it clear. I do not consider myself an immigrant. I have my priorities and aspirations laid out very clearly. Even though everyone in my family besides me is either a US citizen or a permanent resident, and I have my green card approved, I am sure that I will be returning to India after school. Finally, just becuase we are immigrants doesnt put us on a lower moral ground to overlook something that is bad and should be condemned. As a gesture of gratefulness for the countries that have adopted us and have become home for us, we must respect their integrity and sovreignty and must discourage any act or incident that threatens those countries' in any shape or manner. I cannot understand how can someone reprimand me for condemning the rape of minors and then being thrown off into bonded prostitution. It could have been your child. Think about it again. This is anything but a "race issue." If it were Indian immigrants doing such a disgusting thing, I would have condemnned them too, and would have supported any good samaritan who would have the courage to come out in the open and talk about it, whether it was BNP or the Tories or the Labor party.
