...Aw man, what a match!

So ok, this is not one of the serious threads, but come on...let's get back to some enjoyable basics...like India thrashing the Pakis on their home turf and infront of their President!

And to think I ruined most of the night staying up to watch this mother of all one-dayer's!!! But O boy, was it worth it...heh! heh!
Mahendra Singh Dhoni slammed an awesome unbeaten 72 as we finally showed great character and self-belief in telling the World (Watch out World Cup Teams!) that we can chase a big total and come back from being down!!!...
Dhoni, declared man of the match, slammed 13 fours in his blitzkrieg.

Sachin Tendulkar laid the platform with a classy 95 (yeah, not getting the century must have sucked! Anyways, here's saying it in style to those who were getting all excited and shouting,'Endulkar') before Dhoni took centrestage with his audacious stroke-play to take India home with 14 balls to spare!

Yuvraj Singh (79 not out) is another guy, who is getting consistent with every match, and man what a way to solidify his place in the side!!!
We were 190 for five at one stage and needed more than seven runs an over! Imagine!!!...

It was satisfying to see the crowd included Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, the A**H*Le Dictator must have been as stunned as the rest of the home supporters.

Congratulations Team India! You guys Rock!!!

Absolutely a solid victory over pakis.
Tendulkar has prooved again his vital role in indian team and his batting ability and hunger for run as well.
Dhoni is always great specially against pak.
He hits and hits too hard.

Antara,...then you must get yourself the network ASAP, you are missing some really cool action...plus look at this way: the World Cup is just round the corner (ah well, what is a year! ;) )... and the way our team is shaping up, it looks like that one is gonna be one cool world cup to watch!!!

Plus, watching it all night here in America, and then showing up all bleary eyed at work the next day....(looking at the poor suckers discussing some all-brawn-and-no-skills stupid Football game; that they apparently keep playing between themselves and calling each other 'World' champs)...the feeling is entirely different! Heh! Heh!

ps. The England team is already arrived in India, and they are not a Mickey-Mouse team anymore...so that should be a good series to catch too...

Ok, network people now you owe me some advertising money for being such a great sales rep, right!?! :D

Absolutely right, the body language of the Pakis said it all! What was interesting though was to see InzamamulHaq, the Paki captain speaking in English (or at least trying) in the post match presentation. Why the idiot Raza (an another one big biased Paki commentator) kept asking him difficult questions in English beats me!

Also was interesting to see lil' spats during the game when the over-ambitious/over-propagandized Paki ballers were getting continually frustrated (remember the frustrated Shoaib Akhtar beamer controversy from the Test matches?) and getting into tiffs with the Indian batsmen.
Tendulkar had and that 'ganja' Naveed-Ul-Hassan trying to stare him down and saying something that we audience could of course not catch, and then Yuvraj getting elbowed by Gul (and being promptly elbowed back!), after each of these batsmen had pulled the said jerks all around the park with their batting display!

I was a great match. Indian team showed great determination and maturity in beating pak. Indian are not considered best team when it come to chase a target but in recent past they have proved it wrong. Great show by tendulkar, yuvi & dhoni. Our seamers are also doing good job.

Alright people (especially those who are in the US) the fourth one is tonight! (Thursday Morning in India)... So I am already preparing myself for a lone night out infront of the TV, hopefully watching some more fireworks happening from our Team.

It is mucho important that they do not become complacent at all and instead go straight for the jugular! The Pakis are still a strong team (Mr. Akhtar and Afridi missing notwithstanding)... Also this is another day and Night affair, and even though both the Team captains are saying the toss will not matter (apparently because the match shall still start fairly early...and not let the late night dew mess with the team batting second/or even the fielding one for that matter) But I personally think that the Toss is always crucial in those One day ties.

So keep praying on that too (the toss)!

Hopefully we all come back here on this thread tommorrow and have only the best to report!

Another emphatic win for India!
I think Kaif will be out after this series. Chances are good for Raina. He played brilliantly today.
Moreover SuperSub rule is going to be scrapped., there shouldn't be any place for non-performers. Anyway, Laxman is always better than Kaif whether it's test or ODIs.
RP Singh bowled really well. Good finding for Indian team. Agarkar did well in this series but his runs/over is very high. Nehra could be a good replacement if he is fit!

Baaki...this series win was a real team effort...bowlers bowled very well. Batsman were all time best! and full marks to fielding except in the last game. Today it was errorless!

Congrats to Indian team and all Indians for this victory!

Congrats team India for an impressive win.
This win showed again the Indian team work.
Great bowling, good sensible batting and the superb fielding.
R.P.Singh and suresh Raina are the hero of this win.
They will find permanent position in this team.

Hi All

any body saw the U19 World cup Final betwwen India and Pak, i was the match and was really worried abt indian cricket after the Pathetic Batting performance. India was 9/6 in 3.2 overs. Shame on U19 Cricket team. i want to say if u don't have proper Technique to play seam and swing bowling the u don't deserve.
