Brother/Sister under age 21 with parents in Family Green Card

Hello Everybody,

My brother is US Citizen and he want to file for Green Card for my parents.Can my brother/sister under age 21 come with my parents under same green card?
What is procedure for applying for the green card for brothers/sisters with parents under family green card? Please provide me enough information if any jat bhai or their relatives who are in US and applied for Family green card for parents and brothers/sisters.Any contact no or email address.

Hey Balraj!

Your brother can apply for a green card for your parents.

Now they will get a priority treatment, and wont ahve to go through the waiting period. Still, typically it takes 2-3 years to process Parents' green cards.

Pnce your parents get a green card, and any of their children are still under 21, they can move to the US rightaway along with your parents. if they are 21 by the time their parents get a green card, then they will have to go through the waiting period, which is typically 5-8 years for Indian citizens.

Keep in mind that you do all the documentation proiperly when applying for green cards. The usual response time on the applications is around 6 months (for parents). They will reject the application for the slightest fault. Then they will have to apply again and wait for a few months, all over again. My mother had to go through a similar situation. Specific things to watch out for are name spellings, adrresses, date of births etc.

Hi Balraj,
Ajmer need to apply I-130, and I485 for parents and both the formas can be applied at the same time. If parents are in US on visitor visa etc, They do not have to go back and do not have to extend the current visa. I heared the whole process for parents does not take more than a year. Check message board on this site

I am not sure if brother and sister under 21 age group would be eligible for the same category as parents, so double check.
