Why can't these people give this money for some constructive work. We need money for rural education, water, sanitation and so many other basic needs. Why can't these thekedars of religion uplift their poor communities with this money?

Someone has rightly said "There is no fairness in mind when it comes to religion.. "...

Dear RK uncle:
First, let me congratulate Mukesh for an excellent quote in previous post; his quote is very apt and precise.
I dont know what to say about the new reward scheme: but i think the intent is to compare how would things look within India if something like the worldwide Muslim frenzy was imorted in the indian context.
Going to MF: he is one of those few artists who are intelligent and sensitive. There is nothing wrong in painting a Bharat Mata with torn clothes standing in front of the Kashmir Map in his paintings. What is not there in Kashmir context to paint something like this? MF understands the crisis of our pluralistic society which is challenged by the failed state of Pakistan. By saying failed state, i mean they have failed their own people as well and are giving sleepless nights to others. In India's case our mother has indeed been insulted by the crook regimes in Pakistan exactly the way MF painted. Are we questioning MF's patriotism? Are we not greatest dumb ducks of the planet to even draw comparisons between MF and anybody else.
In the Danish cartoon case i must say that they have not been touched by the "nation of Islam" in the past to understand the severity of consequences. And here i must say that i have deep respect for Salman Rushdie who took the intellectual challenge to the Mullah imposed islam in modern times on societies who are yearning for better effort from their regimes.
BTW i think Tomar shud be released immediately coz he may have tried to improve his circulation. If the Indian government is serious then they should take on internet where these images are freely available. I wish i could script a small play depicting the trial of the "indian" govt and internet; imagine desi police being told to beat and manhandle "internet" for creating religious problems. There are far too many sympathisers of Gender, Religion and what not (just give them a chance) to understand the broad consequences of the stupid mundaneness floating all around in the air.
Yours Studently, Anmol.

Dear All,
Namaste,
Ek Maqbool Fida Hussain hai jisne shayad hi koi Hindu Devi Devta ho jiski insult na ki ho.
Aur ye log hai ki ek cartoon ke liye itna Bakhera khada kar diya hai.
Hindu ka dushman Hindu hi hai.
Indian Law let the TOMAR to get imprisoned just for publishing that & Fida Hussain ke liye unke paas koi law nahi hai kya? (Strict Law). For spreading religious disputes.
Having talent of good Art does not permit anybody to make anything.
Fida Hussain is more responsible for this, than that cartoonist.

If a MF Hussain can insult Hindu Gods and Godesses, then they are not woth being called Gods and Goddesses. But yes, one would expect him not to resort to nudity and vulgarity to show off his art.
He may have some ulterior motives as well. Because even as he paints Hindu Gods, he has not given up Islam. Nor has he ever tried to paint any other nudes for example his own mother or Allah etc.
Laws are there to deal with all nuisance. But their implimentation is not equal. So a Tomar is arrested while Hussain is lauded.
The flag bearers of Hindu morality are stupid, at most. They can never compete with Islamists in jingoism and voilence. Its better to channelise their energies to constructive pursuits.

I expect moderators and administerators of all jat web sites to cordinate and come out clearly on topics concerning jats.
jat pride is not so cheap.
A clear signal should be sent to government and directive to jats.
There are so many ground level workers who will see the implimentation of such directive.
