Water Issues in India??

I will be in Northern India for roughly four months starting October 1st. I am a water resource engineer by trade and I am offering my services pro bono for any villages with water problems (ie shortages, water quality issues, water management, etc etc.) If anyone knows of villages with water problems that need help, please let me know.
