Project Manager - Java
Roles and Responsibilities
To initiate the project, the project manager will be leading a team of 2 Project Leads and around 15 - 20 developers and will be responsible forexecuting analysis and design phases of the project. He /She will also be Interacting with the client and/or the team in US during analysis and design phases of the project and authoring the design document. Should have understanding, on an overall level, the entire application, its usage, technical architecture, and functionality. In addition will perform code review based on coding standards and also review technical and
non-technical client deliverables per the project processes and guidelines. Conduct project review/ status meetings/Mentor the Developer/ Leader team/Interact with the team/ management in US to discuss project status and issues/Performing software technical proof of concepts
/Create a strong team and motivate the team towards project success/Ensuring development quality, cost, and time objectives are met Overseas travel and stay as and when required is essential for the position.
Skill Set Requirement - Essential
Around seven to nine years experience with at least two years of
J2EE
application design & Object Oriented design & architecture experience
with
extensive experience in heading projects on J2EE applications within
a
clustered application server environment (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS,
JDBC,
JTA, JNDI, and JSSE). Should have experience on Weblogic Application
server with good knowledge of Oracle Database (8.1.7 & 9.0.3) Version
and
Source Control Systems (SCCS, PVCS, or CVS) and UML design tools
(Together, Rose, Visio)
Knowledge of SEI CMM Land ISO 9001 processes is must.
Skill Set Requirement - Desirable
Web Services, XML, DTD & XML Schema, XSLT, XPath and some Familiarity
with
network programming (TCP/IP, IIOP, RPC, RMI, and SOAP)

years' experience.

We are looking at resources who have at least four to six years

project lead/ team lead doing design, development and integration of
business software solutions.
Full life cycle development including requirements analysis,

design, development and deployment on at least two large projects is

must.
Preferable: Should have the experience of direct interaction with
international clients.

Requirements
Extensive experience with coding using VB (dll, ocx, ActiveX), XML,
ASP,
JSP with experience on MS SQL and Oracle as RDBMS on Operating system
Windows 98/2000. Should also have experience on Crystal Reports
Qualification: BE/ MCA with
2 - 4 yrs IT Industry experience
Microsoft certification desired
Good communication.
Test Engineers
RESPONSIBILITIES
Testing Engineers with proven ability and Good knowledge of QA and
Configuration Mgmt aspect of software products Should be Proficient
in
writing and executing test plans and cases Logging and tracking
defects to
closure. Experience on DB based applications (Client Server and Web
Application) is a must. Will work closely with the Development team.
Requirements
Should have around 2 to 3 years of test experience with enterprise
level
software and should be good at Creating test cases Logging and
tracking
defects to closure.
Experience with various test tools is desirable.
