Internet Technologies:
Websphere Developers: 3-5 years experience in software development with 1-2 years experience in J2EE based project
Skill set
· WebSphere Application Server (preferably on peries/RS6000), WebSphere Development Studio, J2EE 1.3 (Java, JSP, SQL, HTML, CSS) skills required
· XML, DB2 skills preferred
· IBM Certified Solution Developer-WebSphere Studio, V5.0 completed or working towards completion would be a bonus
· IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere Application Server V5.0 would be a bonus
Design Architect: 6-12 years experience in software development with 1-2 years experience in designing J2EE based application structure for large system
Skill Set
Must be able to resolve significantly complex performance and scalability problems in applications, databases and technical infrastructures.
Working knowledge with Middleware products. Strong knowledge in OO technologies and tools. The specific foundational technologies/products that an Architect must know very well would be:
· J2EE
· Data modelling
· UML, Rational Rose
· XML
· MQ-Series or other messaging middleware
Technical Architect: 6-12 years experience in software development with 1-2 years experience in designing architecture for large system
Skill Set
· Experience with Internet technologies such as Microsoft or Java based architectures.
· Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, architectures and CASE tools
· Must have experience in:
§ Architecture recommendations
§ Evaluating and recommending software tools and products that will evolve the organizational technical infrastructure
§ Integrate hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system
§ Review and optimize architectures for business fit
§ Evaluate tools and technology
§ Translate business needs into technical system solutions.
All positions call for:
BE Computer Science or equivalent with excellent academic background.
Domain knowledge of Insurance / Banking (preferred).
Excellent communication (written & Spoken) and analytical skills.
Exposure to formal quality processes.
