your profiles are quite good for the gulf. i would suggest that you go to this link below, and check out all the websites of the recruitment firms. the good ones are - SEE, sos recruitment, BAC, Nadia, Clarendon parker.
register yourself on their websites.
prepare a good CV - follow some of the points given by Monicaji in her post on Jatland. i would also suggest you attach a good formal photograph with tie etc. to your CV.
Also check out the websites of Gulf News, Khaleej times, and Gulf Daily News. for openings in UAE and Bahrain.
applying online does work if your profile fits the job applied for.
keep your passport ready before you start applying. sometimes you can be contacted for a job and may have to move quickly.
keep trying, it can take a long time to get the right kind of job for you.
if you have any relatives in the gulf and they are able to sponsor you for a visit. you could come over and do the job hunt from here. this is the best way to get a job. you will have approx 1 -2 months in which to get a job and convert your visit visa to an employment visa.
