The latest edition of Outlook magazine has an interesting article on jobs, which says –
“So, if you are working for an Infosys or a TCS, and you get married to a colleague, there's a marriage gift waiting for you. In TCS, it's Rs 1 lakh each for the husband and the wife with a foreign jaunt thrown in. In Infosys, it's a new B-segment car!”
The entire article is available at

as well as in the magazine itself. SO, get your seat belts tight, there’s goin’ to be now a bloody war….for the cars…of course...who cares about the gal next cubicle…BEST OF LUCK

Times have certainly changed in India. :)
Its the case of Demand and supply...I say make hay while the sun shines.
All the best to the employees of TCS and Infosys.

Ravi,
If it is not correct then these companies should take the some legal action against that type of news.
I think, it might be the management strategy to attract the professionals. In both of the ways, it is wrong.
It is the request to my jatlanders; those are working with these companies to forward this kind of wrong information to the HR people or the management.
