1. Developer

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Education, Training & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, or related discipline is required.
Minimum of 3 years of software development experience required.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0 and database access techniques using ADO is essential.

UI design skills, Relational DB (SQL Server and/or Oracle), and Crystal Reports expertise is strongly desired, but not essential.

Equipment & Applications:
Expert working knowledge of Windows operating systems (2000 & XP).

2. Senior Developer

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Education, Training & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, or related discipline is required.
Minimum of 5 years of software development experience required.

3. Development Lead

Job Description:
Senior software engineer that serves as the main point of contact for both software engineers and test engineers regarding the day to day development activities for several projects. This person ensures that development standards, processes, and procedures are being followed. This individual serves as a mentor for their team and accountable for providing timely project status, meeting deliverables deadlines, and ensuring code quality.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Education, Training & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, or related discipline is required.
Minimum of 8 years of software development experience required.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge of VB and ADO desired. Quality coding skills including unit testing and regression testing. Strong written and verbal communication skills and desire to support and work with a wide variety of engineers. Positive attitude and hard worker.

Complete understanding of commercial software product development life cycles and methodologies are required, including knowledge of programming languages and systems analysis procedures.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are critical to support the translation of functional requirements into a software design specification for implementation into the product.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to support the capture and transfer of information with others during in the product development process and for subsequent support activities involving other Firstlogic departments.

Solid knowledge of the information quality and data profiling industries served by Firstlogic applications is desired.

Equipment & Applications:
Expert working knowledge of the Windows operating system is required. Ideally, candidate would also have experience with a wide variety of UNIX operating systems including Solaris, AIX, HP/UX, and Linux.

Just in case someone is interested please let me know. One of my friend got an offer from the same company very recently (last week). So he might help you regarding interview/test pattern and other general tips.
