Dear Members
A dynamic young man entered in politics in 2004 by joining BJP and no doubt he is a great speaker and have politics in his blood. I m talking about Varun gandhi son of late Sanjay Gandhi who is ready to contest his first election from Vidisha (M.P). The bye election is going to be happen in september or october and most probably BJP is going to declare Varun Gandhi as candidate. He is just 26 now and certainly if he won which is most likely he is going to be the youngest M.P in Parliament. I can see his bright future in BJP cos i beleive he will be the only leader who will stand in opposite to Rahul gandhi for the Post of P.M in future. I m not saying this will happen very soon but may be after 15 yrs somwhere around in 2020. So i just want to know the views of our jatlanders on this.
Main smjhta hoon kee ek baar fir Bhartiya rajniti mein parivaarwad ke karan ek naam judne ja raha hai par bharat kee rajniti hee aisee hai. lekin mera ek baar ka experience hai jab maine bahut paas se varun ko bolte suna tha toh laga tha kee Varun mein kuch dum hai. Par dekhte hain Samay kis karwat baithta hai.
Please give ur views.

hey abhimanyu.............
nice to c tht u r thinking abt the country`s political scenario after 15 years frm now............thts nice
bt man...u cant compare the two..........they r different........
rahul gandhi ke saath sonia gandhi hai............ jo aaj ke din main sare kaangress party workers kii ma ka darja le ke bethi hai......jo bhi kuch kehta hai kisi issue ko le kar sabse pehle uska naam lete hain.......ufff.....bt its beneficial for rahul gandhi.......
as u have seen in rai barelii election........ did nyone nended rahul gandhi to co ordinate the election and b the crown setter on hismother`s forehead........she was already won frm there nd just to show the public tht rahul managed n all tht election .......he came into limelight for no reason ........i dont think he deserved it......usnee kuch kiya hi nahi tha yaar....
thn other side standing is varun gandhi........yeah i agree he is frm gandhi family too bt the position is deeferent altogether....he donthave ny such maata with him who cud promote him for no reason......he wil have to make his own road nd thn run to reach the sky.......
then abt speachees n all..........i hev heard both rahul nd varun........ varun is far better than rahul........nd he is really energetic than himm........rahul seems a bit lazy nd tierd in his speeches........bt varun proved to b better till date.......don konw f tomorrow.....
thenu asd abt the seat f P.M.after 15 years..........no manits not realy realistic tht u r looking to the contest betweem th two f thm....... BJP unlike kaangress......wil not give varun tht much air as he wud have received if he wud have been in kaangress.......because they dont want nyone frm gandhi family to rule the country if they come into power........its like tht they have been fighting against the ideology of those people nd they cant accept him as P.M..........bt they wil use him as a knife bt not sword........nd they wil tackle small problems with him like MPs.. nd MLAs.
this is all i can predict tday siting ...........bt noone knows wt is written there for tomorrow.......lets c...........nd hope 4 the best for the country...:)
ndstil i feel the statement of comparing thm is not at all at par......;)

Bhai Vikas
Points u have mentioned here are logical and i m agree that wht ur saying might happen but i can see a little bit possibility of Varun cos if he will continue with BJP (cos some people also think he might go in congress after few yrs) than he have a chance cos BJP dont have any such leader now after LK advani and Vajpayee who can become a national leader. I agree there is no chance for Varun upto 15-20 yrs but after that he is able to turn the things in his way but as u also mentined who knows abt future. I m giving him benefit cos he seems very energetic and he came in politics when he is just 24 which can help him in building his future.
Lets see wht will happen but i still think if Varun stays in Bjp than it will be good for country and may be we will see a contest between Rahul and Varun.

well Abhimanu........ as u said abt gandhi family.............. i think n wish none of them comes to that level............as u have much more interest than me in politics.. ... i have seen Madhorao's sceindhiya's son .. n than rajesh pilot's son they both seems .. to be good politicians.................well its good that u thinking that much abt politics and india............ well remeber my name RAMLAL HOODA.............. as u said 15-20 yrs............ u will see me somewhere in indian politics as well...............;) ................. well dost if u already planning for that........ tahts good.......

Well....things cant be predicted with a solid hand as for now as both the guys have still got to prove themselves.
As rathee bhai sahab mentioned that rahul gandhi has an edge due to his mother n other factors, thats very much true i guess coz Indian politics is known for baap dada nexus.......no wonder if we see him as prime minister of this nation.........N when we talk bout delivering speeches n all ......its not a big issue i guess......sab seekh jaate hain .......
On the other hand varun gandhi is no less for that matter.......u never knw when things may turn upside down.....but BJP wont ever let him be the PM i guess......lets see what exactly wud be the scenario of indian politics coz POLITICS IS THE MOST UNPREDICTABLE GAME EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!!! KEEP WATCHING!!!

I will not comment about politics as to who is better but intellectually Varun, though younger, is much superior to Rahul. Rahul is a real duffer (according to his own teachers).

India has so many able young boys and girls. Having great views is one thing and leading the nation is another. Great articles are written daily in newspapers by all sorts of people, but they rarely make a leader. No young leader will shine at national level unless he/ she reaches to the masses in rural India and addresses their problems. Indian politics has become akin to mafia and time has come when people like VP Singh, Arjun Singh, Advani and their lots need to be dumped. As of now I don't see a single young man in Indian politics who can lead the nation...Most of these young men are brought into politics based upon their family legacy and are projected by media in glittering wrappers. I had very high opinion about Mr Sachin Pilot, however, was thoroughly disappointed after hearing his views on reservation.

I was expecting ur reply but it came very late nyway doesnt matter may be ur were busy somewhere. This is true that u cant become a leader just by writing articles but i m not saying abt article i m saying abt vision and thinking. As u said these young politicians came here via the route of family politics but if we see Varun he is littlebit different from these and if he will get something in future that will be by his own cos his father was died when he was not even born, his mother has no relation with Gandhi family after his father's death.
As u said u should have a grip on rural population of India if u want to be a national leader thts absolutely right but why are u forgetting tht this young man has just started his career and have a long way to go. We will see a littlebit of his potential if he will contest in the upcoming bye-election of Vidisha.
Rahi Baat Congress kee toh woh toh chahe Sachin Pilot ho yah Jyotiraditya yah fir Navin Jindal congress mein itne Rahul gandhi jinda hai itne P.M kee Kursee kee taraf toh koi dekh nahi sakta.

As I have mentioned elsewhere on Jatland, present day politics is like whether and it changes by hours. Who on the Earth knew that Manmohan Singh would become PM? Strange things happen all the time. There are too many variables and one has to understand as many of them as possible. Politics is often driven by circumstances and not by good intentions. I won't risk betting on any single person to lead the nation, more so after seeing people like Dev Goda, Indra Gujral and Narsinhrao type people becoming PM in past. As of today, I see not a single leader who has command over entire nation. Therefore it’s the politics of arithmetic, which will keep playing dominant role.

Bhai saheb You are right. Only that young man/woman will make a decisive difference who is ready to come out of five star a/c culture. Its like saying "Keechad ko saaf karne ke liye keechad meni ghusna padta hai".

By definition a leader is one who leads the masses along some ideology. I don't see any of present day politicians falling into that catagory. A leader is always hungry to reach masses and lead them to shape the destiny of nation.
