Got Copper T in between. Went to Tohana, and got treatment for having another child ie a “boy "and had a course of Antibiotics after which she became pregnant . During this pregnancy her husband got desi dawai so that she can bear a son from Kalayat . The quack told them not to get u/s done. They agreed . She delivered a female baby and one and half hours after delivery of the third girl Seeta started having fits. No earlier history of fits is there. She had five fits in 3 hour journey. Got into depression due to birth of the third girl. Not being able to give her milk or stand on her own. Baby was being fed packet milk by cotton. She was under treatment when interviewed.

What a shame .. and these are the supposedly educate elite among us ... life is Gods gift .. whether son or daughter ....

and how can you discriminate against an innocent soul .... terrible .. just terrible ...

and when the educated do and behave like this ... then what should we expect from the rural masses ???

we have enough males in our tribe .. its about time we started a girl child boom to balance the sex ratio ....

and how is a son different from a daughter ????

It is not the fault of the educated parents alone.. the society .. the 'samaaj' is equally responsible..
The pressure of having a Son is through the society only.. !
Things need to be changed and we cant just keep on hoping for them to change by themselves... Some action is must..!

Even if we can contribute marginally at personal level.. even if we can save one female baby from abortion.. if we can help a mother be proud of her daughter.. it is worth it.

As said by VJ Sir.. the ratio is already very unfavourable.. !!
