I was scanning through the developments in Balochistan on BBC online and came across this picture. Flag of Balochistan National party looks very similar to our flag. What members think is going to happen in Balochistan? Will Blochistan break away from Pakistan some day soon?

Sir,
I do not know anything about the developments on Blochistan in pakistan, but regarding the flag thing i can say that i find not much of similarity between its party flag and our national flag. i think it resembles more to the flag of Bolivia.

I doubt it ... baluchis are not strong in numbers and as it is laden with natural gas .. the pakistanis will fight for it at any cost and will not let it break away ....
Though they are a highly determined lot .. the Baluch's .. but i doubt their struggle will be successful ...
However my best wishes ... and blessings are with them ... May God grant them success in their cause ....

Balochistan was an independent entity NOT under British rule. But the Pakis annexed it with the connivance of the British.. That matter is not settled as yet. Balochis can break away, if Iran supports them. But one part of the balochis are fighting against Persian oppression, an opression many centuries old now.
So one Balochistan, and two enemies. They may not get the freedom too soon.
The imponderable is American support to their cause, because America would like to weaken Iran, if not Pakistan.
