What are the views of members in this regard ? What are various options Mr Bhajan Lal is likely to exercise?
Float new party ?
Join BJP ?
Join Hands with Mr Chautala ?
Stick with congress and wait for right time to strike?

Dear Rk Sir
As u r keeping an eye on the whole episode u are aware that there is nthing much left in Congress for Bhajan Lal. The situation is same as it was with Ch. bansilal when Bhajan lal planned the Bansilal episode. Ch. Bansilal was a strong man and made his own party and succeede in getting the power once but for bhajan lal it is very hard to make his own party and if he is thinking abt this than i rekon this will be the worse decision for politics and as well as for Bhajan lal family's politics. I dont think he can do much by forming another regional party. He is in his 70s so he dont have much time now to build everything.
Now the another scenario for him is to leave Congress and jump into the lap of BJP which i rekon will be a wise decision in the current situation. If he will go in BJP than no doubt it will benefit BJP and Bhajan lal. BJP is going to be strong in Haryana cos there are not many options left in front of people of Haryana so by jumping into BJP he can secure the future of his sons in politics.
Thirdly going with chautala by forming a new party is not going to work for Bhajan lal.
More likely these are the three options in front of Bhajanlal at this stage.
Oh there is one more he can also go with Sharad pawar's RCP but chances are very less.

The fact is that he's resigned from Haryana Congress presidentship..not from congress..which I think he won't. The reason being his both sons are attached to congress in the state and one of them happens to be Dy. CM of Haryana. If he does so, uske bettey hee uski durgati kar dengey. I think he'll have to stay in Congress or retire from politics for the sake of his family's political future.
Floating a new party won't work as it'll be then 4th active party in the state...therefore a rare chance of reaching to the top post. Already there are INLD and BJP in the queue.
Moreover, he won't join BJP. BJP is sinking fast in Haryana and who would like to join them. And if he joins, he will never get the post of CM. Why he'll join a party where he'll just be treated as a veteran party worker(that too as a refugee)
There is no question of joining INLD.
I think he'll just sit back and fire at Haryana govt. from time to time. Present a bad picture of haryana admn. in Sonia's ears. He'll try to rebuild his support with Bishnois, Chamars and other minorities. And may be some day he or one of his sons will get a chance to be nominated to CM's post.
Let's see what happens next...keep guessing.

Dear Members,
I don't think Mr. Bhajan Lal had much say in the affairs of Haryana and hence the decison to quit. This is an indication of Mr. Hooda consolidating his position in Haryana politics in general and with in Congress in particular. Considering Mr. Bhajan Lal's past, I fell it is a good thing for Haryana Congress as well as the State.
Now, the question of what next for Mr. Bhajan Lal. To, me it may be more likely that he will end up with a National Portfolio or a position with in Congress may be at National Level. Leaving Congress and forming a new party at this time looks remote to me. Or, may be he will just fade away.
Let us wait and watch.
