I can teach you right from wrong,
...but I cannot always decide for you.

I can buy you beautiful clothes,
...but I cannot make you beautiful inside.

I can offer you advice,
...but I cannot accept it for you.

I can give you love,
...but I cannot force it upon you.

I can teach you to share,
...but I cannot make you unselfish.

I can teach you respect,
...but I cannot force you to show honour.

I can advise you about friends,
...but I cannot choose them for you.

I can teach you about kindness,
...but I cannot force you to be gracious.

I can pray for you,
...but I cannot make you walk with God.

I can tell you how to live,
...but I cannot give you eternal life.

I can love you with unconditional love all of my life,

This was one wonderful stuff...REFLECTIONS OF A PARENT....really a touchy one if one really have some feelings for his/her parents...but now i would like to show something very ridiculous from a child's side...what this new generatis is upto...not everyone but i've seen many like that....actually in this i'm presenting the REFLECTIONS OF A NEW GENERATION CHILD which i've seen in many high societies....and i always then wonder what will they teach to their next generation if they themselves are so rude and irresponsible towards their parents....

You say that you gave us life
...........so let us live our life


Till now you gave us directions
...but now we are mature enough

In your meaning you allowed freedom
..................but it is more than that

You always taught us right and wrong
.....now we can take our own decisions

Beauty
...is not is old cultures, its living with new trends

You always interfere in our matters
......and we are fed up from your advice

We new generation
...need some different love

Sharing is old-fashioned
...just grab other's morsel

Respect
...only those who deserve it

Friends
....are our life

Kindness
huh!! so pathetic

GOD
....money is our only God

Living life
...now we can teach you better

We can take you along only if you don't utter a single word
..................otherwise you better enjoy old citizens house

one exactly such example i've seen in one punjabi family....that unlce anuty are in Indai itself and all their sons are in foreign....and they came to our home to help them to search out an old citizens house for them....pahle to sirf movies mein dekha karte the aajkal ye daily life mein bhi dikhne lag gaya.
