Why the young Jat boys and girls from villages and small towns not much interested in further studies, learn new vocations or go far away from home?
Is it the security provided by the family, or the fear of unknown or lack of desire for hard work, not physical ,but that involves the other faculties ? and what can be done to over come this failing?

My father tried with his brothers , I tried with my cousens with not much success, yer my elder brothewr had better luck in groomin one of my cousens to upto his becoming a class one officer, whose childern are doing equally well.

Laxman singh Ji,

Same goes in my family my dad and his youngest brother both made it and are well educated and well pleced now, but their middle brother did not see any point in studying and is now stuck with the plough and the fields.

My uncle complains about the hard farming life but his only son i.e my younger cousin is repeating his fathers story .......... we tried hard to get him to study but he has no desire ....

I think the reason is that jats in teh villages have food to eat and like okay this is why they do not bother eith education .. they do not undertsand the importance of education .......

The prevelance of bad habits like card games, biddi , hukka and that type of things also hampers in the education focus.

The rural Jatland has as yet not reached the state of desperation to wake them up ...... but what is teh use of opening eyes when the water is above the head .... Its now that we should do something ...... one more generation gone and it will be too late

we will be working as labours like the Biharis now
