Best High Schools in Haryana

Hi,
I frequently get requests from my villagers if I could help them in sending their kids to good schools(with hostel) outside village. Most of the times they end up in schools in Bhiwani itself and they commute daily. But it doesnt seem to make much difference in comparison village schools, in fact sometime it affects student's career adversely. On two occasions, upon my requests two kids were sent to schools outside Bhiwani and they cudn't perform good so they had to come back. One parent even manage to get their daughter in Rai school but she came back after some time. Most of the parents dont have much information also and I also am not well informed on this statistics.

In this thread you can list some top good high school in Haryana which has hostel facility and with cost within range of a farmer's capabilty. +ve and -ve points could also be listed with personal experience if you happen to be alumni of that school. Input on admission policy etc would also be helpful.

VINOD BHAI SAB GOLMAAL HEI.Schools today are money minting machines.Focus has shifted to wealth from character building.All are sailing in the same boat.............SAD BUT TRUE.

Reason I posted this becuase I get more and more requests from my villagers that they want to send their kids outside for studies. People have high opinion of my school in Kurukshetra because they think there much be something in school that I ended up here. But I think there are better school than mine becuase environment wasn't that competitive there. I dont have much knowledge on schools in other districts, so your feedback might be helpful. Someone also want to send girl student out but parents are usually afraid of sending girls but they might consider Gurukuls or girls-only schools with hostel. How is khanpur gurukul? I know these days school's focus is mainly money but there is no harm if education can be bought with money, since anything is better than nothing.

Dear Vinod,

I would rank sonepat as the first and best destination for school education in Harayan. Rishikul Vidhyapeeth, Sambhudyal, Geeta Vidhya Mandir and Hindu High school are some of the best schools in Haryana with Hostel facilities.

For girls, Vidhya Mandir used to be best school for girls but i am not sure of hostel facility. Also Sambhudyal had their girls wing coming up when i had visited the school a decade ago.

Chhoturam Public School Rohtak was also doing good . a co-education school with posibility of sharing hostel with Mata Kishori College.

In Rural areas, R.E.D Chhuchhakwas is the best with hostel facilities.

I believe, DPS Rohtak , Jind Road Rohtak also has Hostel facilities.

Ofcourse Vidya Devi Jindal is the best but not in reach of our rural kids.

All these schools are decent.

S.K. Sharma runs Rishikul and was also the man behind the original
success of Shambu Dayal School. He is a dedicated man who works
hard for the kids.

I think these schools provide a decent environment.
However, ultimate success depends on so many factors (home
environment and parents being a very important one) that the school
itself can only account for so much.

i think best schools in haryana r in faridabad. there is DPS, faridabad from which 25 students get selected in IIT every year,then there is MVN from which 20 students get selected in IIT every year.

dont forget SAINIK SCHOOL KUNJPURA (karnal)
this school has produced many great defence and political personalities
this school has its own image in the mind of people of HARYANA
this is a school with a difference
this school really contributed in the development of the society. there are very few schools who can stand in front of this school.
