Dear Jatlanders,

I am sure this thread is going to be helpful for those aspiring Jatlanders who wish to go for higher studies on scholarship basis,be it India or Abroad.
Therefore, I request you all to come forward and help in providing necessary details and keep updating as and when required.

To start with I have few information for aspiring women Jatlanders who want to pursue their career as scientist.

WOMEN SCIENTISTS FELLOWSHIP SCHEME

This encourages women scientist to reenter research. Support includes a Rs 15,000 grant per month for Phd candidates, Mtech, MS/MD, Rs 10,000 a month for PG candidates for two years plus a grant for minor equipment, consumables and travels.

SUMMER PROGRAMMES AT TIFR(TAT INTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH)

Who can apply?: For biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, pre- final yr students of Msc in applied maths, astronomy, biosciences ,chemistry, mathematics ,physics. BE/BTech with physics interest, medicine/engg. Bright Bsc maths students may be considered.For computer and system sciences, pre- final students of BE/BTech ME/MTech in comp. sc/electrical engg.

U ppl are playing a sound role and give the updates time to time.
we are also the groups of some technical people(IIT,IIM,PROFESSIONALS) have decided to open a charity type school for poor needy childern.Some times finanacial constraints,lack of guidance keep the deserving students back in line and make them helpless.
In most of the casesthey lost the way ....

A fine thread started here. thank you to everybody contributed before me...i am going to add one more option...which may be called fantastic...at least i would ...hahaah...because the link i am giving here lead to a web-page which will give information for an excellent scholarship opportunity with great value both in the sense of academic career and money. This schemre is for masters programs in European/UK universities. Apart from this, there is one more point to notice, which is, this scheme is having a very high number of scholarship allocations to indian students after chinese. This scheme is also gives you many options to choose from. try this once, start preparing for the next year...write only TOEFL/IELTS and should have full degree when applying or should expect to get the degree before 31st July in the year you apply.
