View Full Version : You Are In Love

When you are together with that special someone, you pretend to ignore
that person. But when that special someone is not around, you might look around
to find them.
At that moment, you are in love.

Although there is someone else who always makes you laugh,
your eyes and attention might go only to that special someone.
Then, you are in love.

Although that special someone was supposed to have called you long back,
to let you know of their safe arrival,
your phone is quiet.
You are desperately waiting for the call!
At that moment, you are in love.

If you are much more excited for one short e-mail from
that special someone than other many long e-mails,
you are in love.

When you find yourself as one who cannot erase all the
emails or SMS messages in your phone because of one message
from that special someone, you are in love.

When you get a couple of free movie tickets, you would
not hesitate to think of that special someone.
Then, you are in love.

You keep telling yourself, "that special someone is just a friend",but
you realize that you can not avoid that person's special attraction. At that
moment, you are in love.

While you are reading this post, if someone
appears in your mind,
then u are in love with that person...;))

The Love at Far SiteReading T N Madan‘s ‘Everybody a Gainer’, December 4th India today, about his student days in Lucknow University in the 1950s`, he wrote ` …the class room was an enigma of gender space: there were 20 boys and just four girls in our MA class. We kept a respectful distance….’’, brought back, my own memories of Lucknow, from the same period. I was then a student of MSc Physics, with no girls in the class, we had to content ourselves by just looking at them, from a distance, moving in impregnable clusters. Some of them, more bold and forward, returned the favour by peering through the chinks in the chick, hanging on the door of the Girl’s room, facing our class, a few eyes searching for someone in particular, others just looking out at us and keeping us riveted. My brother, senior to me and a student of MA Politics on the other hand eight girls in his class, all very pretty, one even a Miss Mussoorie. He did have a crush on one, if I am not wrong, as he confided in me, by the name of Rao. Problem once again was of distance, lack of courage or better sense prevailing and it remained only as ‘The Love at Far Site’. Come the Annual Exhibition of the Physics department, Satish and I, detailed to man the stalls allotted to us, found to his delight and my constraint and added confusion, saddled with partners, from the BSc Class, both girls. The short contact of few hours in his case developed into a full-fledged romance over the year. Promises were made, some were kept others fell by the wayside, courtesy, ambitions and different personal priorities. One took the path to higher science, the other diverted to a career in Army. However, the old fires continued to burn in both, the flames coming to surface of and on at chance meetings, till she lost herself, sadly, to Cancer.I, being less bold and adventurous also possibly less romantic or practical, post exhibition the contact continued with just fleeting meetings, of crossing each other, some times by chance at others deliberate, in the corridors or the dark galleries of the physics department, with occasional few words exchanged, all accompanied with, I confess, heightened pulse rate and increased heartbeat The last time I saw her was, on the final day in the university, when she asked for my notes and the Practical Note Book. I left with a heavy heart, mixed feelings and a Goodbye, never to see her again. The positive fallout of these, few and far between, crossings was the habit of daily shave and extra effort at grooming, not being sure of when and where the next contact would chance. To continue with the story, while earlier in BSc, there were four girls in the class, of the group one was a Bengal beauty, with pretty face and a mane of a luxurious growth of hair, fully conscious her assets and her effect on the class. The whole class was in love with her. I in awe of her and nervous, if ever happened to be near her, would consciously, keep a good distance away from her in space. Her aura was such that if one happened to cross her in Hazarat Gang or was lucky enough to see her from near, in the Coffee House, one felt her presence lighting-up the whole place, promptly going dark once again when she left. One day, sadly, she broke the joint hearts of the class and got married to a young Captain. Changing from Miss Choudhry to Mrs BoseI crossed her, only once more, nearly ten years later, in Mhow. Mhow in MP is where most of the Army officers go either to be a trainee or taught. The passing encounter was at the Club, RSI as it was then called, she, now the wife of a senior Major and I, a young Lieutenant, accompanied by my stunningly beautiful wife, my ‘Love at First Sight’. There was a brief flicker of recognition, passing between the two of us. Sadly, my class mate of yore had lost her pride: the luxurious main of past, was now a withered rope of life-less braided hair. I could feel, from the fleeting change in her expression that possibly she was aware of her lost aura.Time can be so cruel especially to victims of ’Love at Far Site’

I don't know what the love is....But I write a poem once for somebody...Even today when I read it, I start feeling....This is love....tell me if its not....

I am sad because I miss you
and I miss you...

because nobody is here to tell me,
how to pronounce a word !
because nobody is here to share,
a jock on surd !

because nobody is here to say,
you are so 'chunt' !
because nobody is here to tell me,
how last night she fought with her aunt !

I am sad because I miss you
and I miss you because,

seating next to me
I miss that child,
sometime very cool
sometime bit wild !

who turns n say
'narazza ho kya?',
hit me on my head n say
'Mazza aaya' !

when I saw that angel
all tiredness remove,
whenever she smiles
all the pains flew !

when you do something
she say 'main keroonga',
and when fail to do
with her childish look say 'Mujhe nahi pta' !

I am sad because I miss you
and I miss you because,

now I can’t gossip with you,
when ever I desire !
can’t witness ur lovely snicker,
which I most admire !

o my little lovely flower,
I can't forget ur fragrance !
o my dearest friend,
I always miss ur presence !

and I miss you because I ……..! ,
~Vicky

I was going through your quote once again .

Marriage is not that bad, in a successful marriage, love becomes sublime, let me quote, what my late wife had to say about love the the day previous to her sad demise after a long illness "I don't know what love is but I can't ,live without you even for a day" Six year on, the words still haunt me. BLS

Unsuccessful love as also the love before marriage is when chemical are over acting, after marriage you dont need chemicals but chemistry BLS

Dosto!!!!!!!!!

Yes that's love, once you don't think about anybody surrounding you, you think only about when you don't know what are you thinking, when you loose yr control, when you lost yourself, ie. LOVE, ie. MADNESS, nothing else its psychiatric problem, who is normal, who is abnormal, nobody knows, majority decide, whoever say whatever, anyway...........you are in LOVE.

Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end.

when you finish your work early and rush home to be with your girl...

when you buy five tees, wear a new tee everyday untill the girl says you look good in that t-shirt. you then wear it everytime you meet her...

when you suddenly break into a smile thinking of the good times. And you get addicted to it...

when you are with your friend and his beautiful girlfriend and you miss your girl like hell...

when you sense that your girl is not fine and you do everything so that she starts having a good time... you are in Love ;)

For all you people who say "I love you" when you have no clue what love is exactly...

What is love? When we claim that it's love that we have for someone, are we correct?
Something to ponder upon.....

Are your palms sweaty, is your heart racing and is your voice caught within your chest?
It isn't love, it's like.

You can't keep your eyes or hands off of them, am I right?
It isn't love, it's lust.

Are you proud, and eager to show them off?
It isn't love, it's luck.

Do you want them because you know they're there?
It isn't love, it's loneliness.

Are you there because it's what everyone wants?
It isn't love, it's loyalty.

Are you there because they kissed you, or held your hand?
It isn't love, it's low confidence.

Do you stay for their confessions of love, because you don't want to hurt them?
It isn't love, it's pity.

Do you belong to them because their sight makes your heart skip a beat?
It isn't love, it's infatuation.

Do you pardon their faults because you care about them?
It isn't love, it's friendship

Do you tell them every day they are the only one you think of?
It isn't love, it's a lie.

Are you willing to give all of your favourite things for their sake?
It isn't love, it's charity.

Does your heart ache and break when they're sad?
Then it's love.

Do you cry for their pain, even when they're strong?
Then it's love.

Do their eyes see your true heart, and touch your soul so deeply it hurts?
Then it's love.

Do you stay because a blinding, incomprehensible mix of pain and relation pulls you close and holds you there?
Then it's love.

Do you accept their faults because they're a part of who they are?
Then it's love.

Are you attracted to others, but stay with them faithfully without regret?
Then it's love.

Would you allow them to leave you , not because they want to but because they have to?
Then its love.

Would you give them your heart, your life, your death?
Then it's love.

Now, if love is painful, and tortures us so, why do we love? Why is it all we search for in life? This pain, this agony? Why is it all we long for? This torture, this powerful death of self? Why?
The answer is so simple cause it's...LOVE. It is so addictive that even people who are not having it wish to experience and share it with!!!

Rock on,
Jit
