NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident, a 50-year- old school teacher and his government employee friend landed in police net after they allegedly abducted three minor girls in a North-East Delhi locality.
The duo, said to be in an inebriated state, forcibly dragged three minor girls into their car in Dilshad Colony area on Thursday and sped away, police said on Friday.
The girls raised an alarm and hearing the commotion an autorickshaw driver blocked their car with his vehicle after which it lost control and hit a road divider.
They were soon apprehended by locals and handed over to the police.
The abductors have been identified as Rajinder, a lecturer of Govt Boys Senior Secondary School, Dhaka Dhirpur, and Nihal Singh, an Upper Division Clerk.
