my brother has got AIR rank 16 in gate exam 2007. i want the informations to admission in college and branch.

n well i think,IIT Delhi would b the best,
n about-branch---he himself have to decide-about his interests,i think.
as far as job is concerned---now the India is full of opportunities-only the individual should have courage & confidence to grab them.

Ask him to go to IIT Delhi and and talk to deptt profs .I personally think going there and checking projects which these prof are working on, will help him taking right decision. I am in IIT chennai. I can give you brief about IIT Madras.
I am doing Mech Btech but i hav fair good knowledge of other deptt.
And what is his branch???

If possible,try to contact some one in IISC banglore also.
