Hindi Commentary Da Jwaab Nahi
I have always been a cricket fan from those days when only DoorDarshan was the main source of entertainment, not only for cricket but everything. These days there are lots of sports channels available like ESPN, Star Sports, Ten Sports, Zee Sports, and many more! But one thing which didn’t change even today is the pathetic Hindi Commentary on Doordarshan/SAB channels. I saw this world cup on SAB TV (where matches with Hindi commentary was shown) and enjoyed few very-very funny goof-ups. English commentary is focused only on what is happening on the current ball or in the current over, but our lajawab Hindi commentator ensure added spice (more spicy than Tandoori Chicken) while predicting the outcome from the very 1st ball of the match (heavily inspired from Indian Meteorological Department) along with funny bytes here and there. Give me these funny bytes any day over slapstick comedy movies of David Dhawan or Jim Carrey, I won’t complain!
Maninder Singh and Arun Lal are the commentators. Enjoy the ride, mates!
MS: Jin darshako ne apne TV set der se khole ho (TV opened or switched on?), unko main bata dun ki iss waqt Bhaarat aur Newzeland ke beech khela ja raha yeh match kaafi romanchak mod pe khada hai! Bharat ki salami jodi patakhe fodne me koi kasar nahi chod rahi hai, (Fantastic tribute to Diwali.)

AL: Match bhut hi dilchasp mod pe khada hai (ohhh..what a bouncer…J)….shaanddaar cricket aaj dekhne ko mili hai Garden me (forgot to add “Eden”, like match is being played in a garden in front of your home, sweet home.)
MS: Ji Arun, par agar Newzeland team ke bowlers 6-7 wicket abhi chatkha dete hain to Bhaarat ke liye bhut muskil ho jayegi. (Overlooking the fact that there are only 4 wickets available to take.)
AL: Lekin Maninder, ab ballebaajon ko run bnnane hi honge nahi to Bhaarat ye match haar jayega (Las if those batsmen and rest of India were unaware of this possibility.) Doosri pari ka 39th over samapat hua or SriLanka ka score 6 wickets par 104 run.
(Immediately, Vikas, the scorer, corrects Arun Lal that it is not SriLanka but India, and the score is not 104 but 204.)
MS:Is match ka romanch abh itna jyada badh chukka hai ki ab yeh match dil ke marizon ke liye khatarnaak sabit ho sakta hai. (Free medical advice)
