….So Say Cheeseeeee.....:)

Life is a great leveler. It comes with its own upheavals. I feel literally privileged sitting in AC office and writing this write-up on comp. There are several souls who are not blessed with good family, sound education, healthy upbringing, and many more things which are virtually the basic essence of human existence.

I read somewhere: “If you have food in fridge, clothes on body and a roof over the head, then you are richer than 60% people on this earth.”

However, all of us take these things for granted and forget the fact that we are the chosen one by HIM (God) to live a blissful life. I accept that all is not hunky dowry in our lives. But then this is fair enough since at least we are empowered in certain ways to face the challenges thrown by life constantly. Remember the wise words: NOBODY PROMISED YOU FREE LUNCHES. In fact, I firmly believe that life should be tough to grow consistently since something that comes easily doesn’t hold much worth to achieve.

Unfortunately, this is not the case with everyone who are living without the hope of a normal life, forget the decent one. By providing us a normal (or I must say a decent life) life, God is trying to send a message. The message is loud and clear that we can make a difference in other’s life by doing a bit (if not much in our own possible ways).

Just last Sunday, I was passing near by a slum area. I found few naked, mal-nourished children smiling, playing and enjoying themselves. It really forced me to think if these folks can afford a smile in spite of having virtually nothing (both in material terms as well as hope for a bright future) then what is wrong with us. I certainly believe that we can do better.

You have to take the good and the bad, smile with the sad, love what you got, and remember what you had, always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change; things go wrong, just remember that life goes on.

A breath of fresh air you came
The dawning of an age
Like the morning dew, giving life
A sun, giving warmth. . .
Without warning
A storm gathers
Strong winds uproot trees
Creating havoc, disturbing peace . . .

Then, silence . . .
Life must go on . . .

Hi Nitin,
Very rightly said and for last few days me contemplating on something quite close to what to trying to draw attention to.
"You have to take the good and the bad, smile with the sad, love what you got, and remember what you had, always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change; things go wrong, just remember that life goes on."
these words are beautifully placed and very positive and same i was having in my thought process but believe me when life put's one on testing time ,it really makes things very confusing and for certain set of thing/situation it gets difficult to decide which way to follow forgive or forget........still i find a touch of humanity in ur article.

I really feel overwhelmed the way you have put my words in a unique perspective. Humanity certainly possess the power to connect all the people. Humanity confirms the fact that we do not belong to any race whether black or white, hindu or muslim, indian, pakistani, American, poor, rich, weak or strrong but just to the one Mother Nature, earth, All of us are "Earhtians." Thanks a lot Mamta, You have caught the real essence of my writing.
