Bhai Jitender Hooda had raised a very important question in one previous thread. I did not answer it then coz I felt the question deserved a separate thread and I also wanted to be sure of the answer I write.
We(includes me) all keep questioning, cribbing, complaining, discussing about what is wrong with the society, community, country and the world but the important question is “What can we do?”
I have listed the points I believe in-
1. Never say ‘mere akele ke karne se kya farak padta hai’
2. Be so motivated that 5 people coming to you should go motivated. Spread positive energy i.e goodness, trust, happiness, josh, patriotism etc
3. It shouldn’t at least happen that motivated people go demotivated from you.
4. Don’t throw litter on the street. Keep it with you till you find a dustbin. So many shaheed/martyrs have given their lives for this soil, its an insult to them if we litter it.
5. Spend five minutes everyday picking papers/polythenes from the road/public place. Let others see you picking them up.
6. PLEASE say NO to polythenes. Whatever you go to buy, please carry your own bag or take it in paper bag but not polythenes.
7. Plant at least one tree and ensure that it grows well and full.
8. Promote love, smiles and tolerance.
9. Don’t Hate. Hatred hurts you yourself more than anyone else.
10. Never use bad words about your country. A million people have given their lives to give you this country. Now it is our duty to make it the most beautiful country. That is the best and only homage/tribute to martyrs. (They did not give their lives for medals or flowers on their idols)
11. Learn to care.
While teaching one day one of my students said “Sir, hamara desh to aisa hi hai” I tried to convince him politely that he shouldn’t say bad about our country but he became adamant and repetitive. I lost my temper and said “what have you done for your country? Go and tell the widows, parents and children of martyrs that their son/father was a fool. He died for a bad country. He was a fool. I am wise, I am having fun saying bad things about my country.”
As for JATs as a community
I hear lot of people saying proudly “I am a JAT”, which is good but what I would like to hear is, some one from other communitye saying “He is a JAT” with respect.
Being proud is one thing but making yourself worthy of the pride is the challenge.
When you praise yourself its no praise, when others praise you then its worth it.
For this to happen we need a Kranti, a revolution in JAT community. A revolution of love, brotherhood, goodness, cooperation, tolerance, giving nature, motivation,……
Let us make our community worthy of praise.
Are you willing to bring about this Kranti by simply being a part of it.

Bhai Yatinder, great! Tum to mere laxman ho
Ab dekho Bhai, If i had started a discussion on 'Whats wrong?' every one would have jumped in but when Jitender Bhai wala question "What can we do?" aya to sab duur duur ho gaye.
I just got two responses from You and Bharti saying "Count me in"
I myself promise I will follow each one of the points I have stated (have been following most already.)
One more point which i missed out is "dont give in to corruption" even if we ve to face a little difficulties for getting our jobs done.

Well....... akela insaan kafi kuch kar sakta hai.............. I agree:)Duniya na badal sake......par kafi kuch badlaav la sakta hai........... depends on his approach & detemination to stick to the good things whatever may be the situations like....... action speak louder than words..........actions are noticed certaintly & have impact ....... thing is just that the actions must be worth that............!!
2. Be so motivated that 5 people coming to you should go motivated. Spread positive energy i.e goodness, trust, happiness, josh, patriotism etc
Humans are all about being social! Its true......... we humans are too social, we do notice many a things and even the expressions a face do carry, gestures, attitude, body language etc! So, I can say, a positive person takes with him a whole lot of package of positivity!! & it does spreads, cant be stopped!!
3. It shouldn’t at least happen that motivated people go demotivated from you.
If we cant speak positive, we must mind our words & actions from being negative atleast! Its difficult but we must try being positive & if not that then atleast avoid negativity & pessimistic thoughts or quotes.
4. Don’t throw litter on the street. Keep it with you till you find a dustbin. So many shaheed/martyrs have given their lives for this soil, its an insult to them if we litter it.
If u hate when others litter............ u must check urself everytime.
5. Spend five minutes everyday picking papers/polythenes from the road/public place. Let others see you picking them up.
6. PLEASE say NO to polythenes. Whatever you go to buy, please carry your own bag or take it in paper bag but not polythenes.

11. Learn to care.
Finally I would say that our words & actions must be under our control because they have a great impact on others, in a way or the other. We must not shy in doing what we feel is right, but a bit out of the way, just because of the fear of "log kya kahenge...." etc. If one has a stand in life & the stand is worthwhile, then no one can stop that person from achieving what may even seem a very tedious one or less practical! Small small gestures & positive actions leave thier mark in others heart too............ so we must try doing good even if it is a very small one coz "boond boond se sach me saagar banta hai:)"
Well, Naveen ji has given very small yet worth doing tips! I will remember:) Dekha ek pe to farak pada na, dekhte hai who is the next!:):)
Keep smiling its free......... no tax...........and it brings sweetness!
Loving, caring and doing good gives immense pleasure....... the more we give the more we get.............

naveen bhaisaab,
ram ram
via ur thread u hv taken 1st conceivable step to usher in to an era of hope whr ceaseless flow of positive energy will take us to all happiness of this world as well as of that world.
i may be extra optimistic when i say that days of triumph of good and truth are not far off. but things that i hv observed is that
1. today all positiveness is widely scattered as compared to herculian alliances formed by negative powers.
2 to my surprise i feel that affinity towards negative thoughts is much greater than that of positive thoughts.
so we need to identify all these positive sources to work as a cohesive unit to give those a tough fight who blindly destroys all values of humanity.
we may or may not succeed ultimately but the fight must continue

Bhai Vikas, people like you re-enforce my trust in positive energy.
I know, an inclination towards negative is there but rather than cribbing about negatives and succumbing to them
I WANT TO DIE TRYING TO MAKE THE POSITIVES WIN
The positives have to unite,

Very Well thought and said Naveen. Yea its true we all keep waiting for others to start, and no one starts ! one shud start with oneself, yu can improve urself,, others ll get inspired from you. And if every human being ll start thinking this way, reform ll come itself. Most important is to change oneself towards being a better human being, and shud try our best to contribute towards society in every way we can.
you have counted very practical points, as well i feel, one shud try to remain cool, and control anger. we (sply jats) waste a lot of our energy in anger; and anger brings the negativity and stress.
I follow most of these things in my life. your thoughtfulness ll help remind 'em better.

Bhaisaab Ram Ram !!
Okie lets take it to the other side ....
Less response to this thread doesn't mean something wrongly written or not communicated properly. It might be the case someone is doing all such good work towards the society but doesn't want to reveal to the public...!!
