bhai..interesting nahin bakwaas!
When these Punjabis came to India from Pakistan at the time of partition, some of them really suffered. But others took the advantage of the situation. A lot of them produced false land holding certificates. As govt. didn't have any records to verify these, they were allocated big pieces of land in haphazard manner. You yourself can see how they stand in north India. And on top of that, they are demanding 30% reservation in Govt. jobs. They had their share. They are not in minority. They are not economically backward. What's the point?
Govt. should explicitly turn down their demand.

Well, I will just say that people who are the courageous, talented and hard task masters should not worry for any sort of reservation....the things will come to them..for sure..

Bhai
Then why Jats are demanding reservation?? They ruled almost all of north India for long if they were not able to maintain that with the changing time.
We all will see now every community will fight for reservation waise bhee Rajasthan main Gujjar ne or uske baad Rajput or Brahmins ne bhee demand kar dee hain.
If OBC reservation can be decided on 1951 census then they can also demand the same as that time there conditions were also miserable.
I am totally against the reservation on the basis of caste it should be on the basis of financial conditions. Instead reservation on the basis of caste is dividing the country.

Absolutely correct. Those who want reservations to Jats and not to Punjabis or any one else are doing what? It is some thing that you beg to get into a crowded bus, and once you are in you don't let another person get in because there is no space or it is crowded.
The Government should be bold enough to say big time NO to every one on the issue reservation and sould also scrap any thing that is existing. I feel that if some political party runs its election campaign on this issue, will certainly do well. It is a gamble worth taking.
People are fed up. This will also eliminate the fringe leaders who have no agenda but to keep themselves in limelight. Ask all these leaders how to run the government or questions about the international affairs, economy and trust me you will draw a blank from many of them.
