Haryana Government’s “Bijli Rally” at Jhajjar

As of now, the areas in south Haryana are reported to be reeling under acute power shortage. While the project is welcome, is it necessary to invite Sonia Gandhi for laying the foundation stone of each and every project in Haryana or elsewhere? On the same day at the same spot, a “bijli rally” is being organized by the authorities. Interesting – this is called “power politics” !!

mote pet aala agar pay kar raha hai..... to uska hak hai is bijli pe......... usko bhi business chalana hai............ garibon ka bhala karna uski balance sheet mein fit nahin hota..............kam se kam mall mein hazaron logon ko naukri to mil jaati hai............ho gaya bhala......aur kya mote pet aaala lori sunake suwawe ga raat ne garib ko. Ab app kahoge ki software company wale multi-story building banake usme 24 ghnate A/C chalate hain...........chalate hain to payment bhi karte hain......logon ko achhi khaasi naukri bhi milti hai........... garib chaprasi se leke CEO tak.

Problem is not mall aale..... problem is government trying to interfere in the production and distribution of power. This has been discussed atleast 10 times on Jatland.

If you are talking about corporate welfare.... that is rampant in India......Big corporation especially reliance pay the government lot of money to do their bidding.......but if reliance does'nt do it somebody else will.....problem lies with the corrupt government........... mera to sarkar mein bilkul vishwas nahin hai........yahan AMerican government aale bhi nyare harami hain (but they do have some good politicians here)............ India mein 99.99% politician bilkul jaleel haramzyade hain - no doubt about that. The only solution is not to look for solutions from the government .....they will never improve because they donot have any incentive to improve........reduce the size and scope of the government ..get them out of our way....we can take care of ourselves........ we donot need the government in our daily lives..

सोनिया गाँधी एक साल के अंतराल में तीसरी बार हरियाणा में आ रही हैं .... एक प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री के लिए ये गर्व की बात है.....क्युनके सोनिया गाँधी ka UPA की अधक्षा होने का मुख्यमंत्री भरपूर फायदा उठा सकता है......7 Oct. को सोनिया गाँधी 3 जगह जाएँगी....झंडली में 1500 MW , सोनीपत में Foodprocessing Plant ओर रेवाड़ी में Railway project की आधारशिला रखी जा रही है.....|
आच्हे बुरे लोग हर फिल्ड में मिल जायेंगे ....... हर किसे की नियत पे शक करना अच्छी बात नही है.......भाषा का उचित प्रयोग लिखने वाले के साथ-साथ पढने वालों पर भी प्रभाव छोड़ता है...... ?
ऐसा लगता है के 7 Oct. 2007 को मुख्यमंत्री कोए विशेष घोषणा भी करने जा रहे हैं....?

"07 नवम्बर" नहीं, वीरेन्द्र जी, "7 अक्तूबर" । बिजलीघर बनाना अच्छी बात है, उसकी जरूरत है । असली मुद्दा यह है कि हरेक काम के लिये "उदघाटन" करवाने जैसा ढोंग क्या अच्छी बात है ? पहले चौटाला जी भी यही काम करवाते रहे थे, रोजाना किसी-न-किसी बहाने 'उदघाटन' के समारोह होते रहे थे, किसी सड़क की मुरम्मत हो या कोई छोटा-मोटा पुल बन रहा हो, जब तक मुख्यमंत्री जी उदघाटन न करें, न तो काम शुरू होगा, न ही खतम । उस सरकार और अब वाली में फर्क क्या रहा - रेवाड़ी-झज्जर रेलवे लाईन के बारे में कब से सुनते आ रहे हैं, और अब सोनिया जी उसका 'उदघाटन' करेंगी - वाह ! अभी तो काम शुरू भी नहीं हुआ - पुल बनेंगे, स्टेशन भी बनेंगे और हर छोटे-मोटे काम का नेताओं द्वारा उदघाटन होता रहेगा । सुना है कई दिन से सारी सरकारी मशीनरी झज्जर के पास इसी रैली का इन्तजाम करने में जुटी है । और सोनिया जी के करकमलों द्वारा कई "उदघाटन" करवाने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री जी सीधे अमरीका की यात्रा पर रवाना हो जायेंगे ।

कभी नहीं पढ़ा गया कि अमरीका में फलां-फलां फैक्टरी या प्रोजेक्ट का उदघाटन करने जार्ज बुश गए हैं । वाकई अपना भारत महान है - काम हो या न हो, राजनीति पहले ही शुरू हो जाती है ।

I see nothing wrong if Delhi also gets half of the electricity. After all this Power plant will be put by NTPC which a government of India undertaking and not Hatryana government undertaking. Haryana should be happy that central government is making all the investment and generating jobs for local people.

So basically responsibility rellies on people....

Yes...and I agree...but this is a different problem...
The issue is the rally...not the uddhgattan...and rallys are held even
without uddhgattans...

And then again the issue is notthe rally...but howthey are held and organized..

I am fully agreed that it this project may be implemented by NTPC..

in Faridabad there are two power plants one is thermal power plant in nit faridabad and other one in mujhedi near ballabhgarh(operated by ntpc) still there are lot of power cuts in faridabad...
so my qustion is how this proposed power plant in jhajjar will improve the power condition in haryana..

Rallies take centre stage, works backseat

Development works, or even a mere talk about these in political circles, have taken a backseat in the district as all concerned are apparently busy with the October 7 Jhajjar rally of the Congress to be addressed by Sonia Gandhi and the December 2 Rohtak rally being organised by Kuldip Bishnoi, suspended Congress MP from Bhiwani.


While the Haryana Congress has asked its state working president Kuldip Sharma to oversee the mobilisation programme in the district for the success of the Jhajjar rally, former minister of Haryana Subhash Batra held fort for Bishnoi for the past two days here to galvanise support for the Rohtak rally.

President of the Faridabad (urban) unit of the Congress B.R. Ojha said the Jhajjar rally was evincing a good response from the public. According to him, the party leadership has assigned the task of mobilising 3,000 persons for the rally to each of the MLAs and an equal number to the party MP from Faridabad.

However, the Congress circles here are stunned over the mayor, deputy mayor and three local councillors leaving for Kerala on an official trip. They will return after the rally.

On the other hand, Subhash Batra, who has been made the convener of the December 2 rally by Bishnoi, came down heavily on the Congress, saying that the Congress rally was a mere eyewash to divert the attention of the masses who had great resentment against the government.

Sab hai hai kar rahe they ki bijli bijli .... iss sarkar ne aake kuch steps uthae aur nateeja hai ki kafi megawatt bijli ka utpadan shuru ho jaega. Means they have targetted the root cause and now they are moving ahead to overcome this problem.

Kitni hogi, aur ismein se bijli bant jaegi ... phir bhi kuch to faeda hoga? Na hota ho te bata dyo?

Kaam karke dhong kar lein wo bhi aacha ee hai .... wo dhong bhi shuha jyaga ... wo nue kahya karein ek ...Dhoodh aali ki to laat bhi aut le aadmi ..... duniya bina kaam ke bhi khae hande thi ... Ye bharat hai aur haryana ... kaam karke been bajani pade hai logon ko batane ke liye ... jinki yadast kamjoor hai ... aur ismein koe burai nahi hai ... kyonki agar aisa nahi kiya gaya to gurantee hai ki log agli baar nae sarkar chahenge ... unko kiye gae kaam jaldi bhool jate hein ...

I have seen a comment from deepender the day before rally .... ki humne kuchek marg nirdharit kiye hein rally ke liye ... kripya unhi ka prayog karein ... taki baki janta ko pareshani na ho ....

Usi din kae tests rakhe gae they chandigarh .... agar pahele ki sarkarein hoti to logon ko kheechane ke liye ye bhi diga diye jate ....

Mere khayal se pahele koe rally hoti thi to rohtak ki police line ne dhadha thok diya karte sarkar truck jeeps se ... lekin abki baar sarkari machinery ka utna durupyog nahi hai ... so look at the better aspects too .... criticism only will not serve the purpose ... keechad keechad mein ghus ke hi saaf hoga ...

Eeb rolla nue hai ek Sonia kyun bulai ... ke dikkat hogi ... aachi ee baat se ... upar kime chalta pilat rakhenge to pardesh ka ee faeda hai ... lalu bhi aya sunya .... to kal ne ek aadhi rail aur bichva de kera ... haan sonia mano na mano aaj ke daur mein supreemo hai ...

Jo hum hade gali demte rahva haan uneh kime to points sujhane chahiye ,.... ek these are the points which needs to be considered ....

There is another thread ....by Ishwar ji ...deepender ko kaam batao ,.... uspe likho progress points that needs to be considered .... jo retire ho lein hein ... what i feel is that rush into politics .... start a compaign to educate people for the wrong steps of govt ... ho ke hai ek sare apna choh hade kadh lein hein criticize karan mein ee ... er election ke time pe vote ka bhi time kadh na pate ...

It's good to have this sort of developments but I could not got your point that half should be given to Delhi as NTPC is government of India undertaking. NTPC is governement of India undertaking as you said NOT Delhi govt undertaking.

Though production of electricity is dominated by Govt undertakings, private companies will play a big role both in production and distribution. In Delhi, distribution is already in private hands. And believe it or not, if we go on newspaper reports, Delhi's electric companies are selling 300 MW of electricity to Mumbai per day now-a-days - because the demand has come down after the summer heat. But in parts of Delhi, the load-shedding is continuing even now.

In neighbouring Faridabad district, there is Okhla power-plant and the neighbouring villages are facing heavy power-cuts. There are reports that Punjab has also sold electricity to Kerala during last winter to get some revenue for its loss-making electricity board.

With a central grid in operation, it is now easy to transmit electricity to remote areas. Same is going to happen with Haryana’s new power station in Jhajjar district. It is a power-game – those who have money-power, will grab this electricity. There is no guarantee that neighbouring villages of Haryana will get rid of load-shedding. Delhi and the neighbouring SEZ factories will have upper hand. Currently, only land has been acquired for SEZ. Once the factories start functioning, things will have a drastic change and some more power plants may be needed.
