What to cheer up and why jatland should cheer up ?

He is just another businessman like Ambani's, Tata's etc and doing gud in his areas of interest. If his wealth is doubled what to cheer up ? Ambani's are doing that almost every month.

yes i do agree,
arjun ki tarah chidiya ki aankh dekho

reservation of jats is the most important issue.
though it does encourage the morale of jats but the morale only will not give the bread to the poorest/kisans hard working jats in the villages.

Emirates target India real estate
By Joe Leahy in Mumbai

Published: December 3 2007 22:15 | Last updated: December 3 2007 22:15

The cash-rich states of the United Arab Emirates are sinking billions of dollars into India’s real estate sector through joint ventures with local companies as sovereign wealth funds and Middle East investment groups increasingly target India. Rakeen, a project development company controlled by the government of Ras Al Khaimah, part of the UAE federation, said on Monday it had linked up with India’s Trimex Group to build township projects across India. It is the third such partnership in the sector.
Prasad Koneru, managing director of the joint venture, Rakindo Developers, said the group would “invest about $5bn” over the next five years. India’s biggest listed developer, DLF, and Dubai’s Nakheel have announced a joint venture with plans to invest more than $10bn to build two townships on 40,000 acres.
Emaar Properties, the Dubai-based developer and the largest Arab real estate company, has a 40 per cent stake in a joint venture with India’s MGF. The pair, which are planning to hold a $2bn stock market listing, are expected to invest $12bn over five years.
Critics question whether all the joint ventures will be able to realise their plans as they exceed what the established Indian developers have been able to build over the previous decades.
Rakindo is planning to develop 50m sq ft of space and begin construction of its first $1.5bn integrated township in Tamil Nadu, southern India, early next year. Mr Koneru said the company had 4,000 acres of land across the country and was looking to acquire 5,000 acres more. Analysts said both joint venture partners lacked a track record in such large-scale real estate development. The joint venture is Rakeen’s first move into Indian real estate while Trimex is a mining company.
“I’d be very wary of these announcements,” said one private equity executive who specialises in real estate. “It makes me stretch my imagination to think people would give $5bn to people they’ve never heard of.” The move comes as Indian real estate is also drawing increasing interest from Wall Street-based private equity firms.
Merrill Lynch this month said it was planning to pay about $377m for a 49 per cent share in a portfolio of residential projects being developed by DLF in one of the biggest deals of its type in India.
The transaction, Merrill Lynch’s sixth in Indian real estate, brings its total investments in the sector to between $500 and $600m.

Thanks,
Sumit

Jats in Haryana OBC status, says Hooda

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE

Conclusions
thankful to you all my blood brothers for sharing your views if my words were desi, haryanvi or bit hard sometimes, please take them in right spirit with due regard to all of you, while thread continues I'll be bit busy for some days and would like to take leave. My conclusions from the above discussions are the following:

1. Many Jats lack awareness regarding their utmost needs and immediate priorities. OBC reservation is the fact which is most immediately obvious of these. It cries for instant action and no further wastage of time.

2. Some people on this site are not Jats but pretend to be Jats. They always try to misguide people here against the interests of Jats.

3. Some Jats here are either ignorant of the plight of rural Jats or unnecessarilly try be over-idealists and seudo-nationalists. Real india is not this geographical unit only but the majority of its population. Majority of population of India favours aarakshan.

4. Jats were not included in reserve category and with other non-reserved people they started singing to the tune of those people that reservation is no good to nation or even to the people who are getting reservation. Though these are open broad day lite facts to see how Meenas rose in 50 years. Why then Gujjars agitate? etc.

All such theories behind such seudo-logics is the frustration of non-reserved people to see some government jobs slipping out of their hands.

5. No doubt some Jats are really meritorious and well to do. They neither require reservation nor desire it. But they are over enthusiastic and sadly mistaken that all Jats are like them. Also they do not know what harm they are doing to his poor brother Jat in village by saying "NO TO RESERVATION". They always have option to be in general category if Jat comes in OBC but poor Jat does not have option to be in OBC if Jat remains in general category.

6. Jats have tendency of justice and equality and think too much of other castes etc. Its positive quality though but excess is bad.

7. Some Jats are too proudy. Though its also good but somewhere some practical angle should also be there.

8. Jats always have the tendency to take the lead like Hanuman. Which always costs them dearly. They forget that sometimes Bania attitude is also beneficial. Whether its reservationist group or non-reservationist group Jats come on the fore-front from both sides and fight among themselves while other beneficiary and non-beneficiary castes simply speak or infuse them or watch silently. This was seen recently in Delhi and around in anti-rservation stir 1-2 years back. Rajasthan Jats were at the fore front opposing reservation violently in early nineties.

9. They do not understand where exactly are lying their interests. They fail to realise that they are about 1% of India's population. Their support or opposition will hardly make some impact on reservation policy. They should better channelise their energy in finding their position in this caste reservation structure. So dnt support and dnt oppose better join in it as OBC.

10. Some Jats are over cautious of OBC tag over their caste. They should take lesson from Gujjar and Meenas. Jats have common hucca with them. And when they are happy in ST category why cant you tolerate just OBC. O bhai OBC kum se kum ST se to upper hai.

11. Jats are the most backward in non-reserved category. So these people were and will always be above them even without reservation. Other castes who are lower than Jats will again be over the Jats due to reservation. So Jat is fast sinking at the lowest bottom of sea with the passage of time. He is the worst sufferer due to reservation.

12. Jat is most forward in OBC. If he comes in OBC then he is best gainer in reservation.

13. Reservation ek voton ki rajniti hai ye kahne se kuchh nahin hota. Rajniti to sari hi voton ki hai and our constitution provides for that. In fact this vote rajniti of reservation favours Jat most. 70% of Indian population is OBC and Jat is at the top of this 70%. Ye rasta Jat ko PM ki taraf le jata hai.

14. Doosri taraf Jat 10-20% non-reserved category me sub se neeche hai. Ek Jat hi atka rah gaya hai. To bhai Jat tu bhi bhaajj lle pawan nne dhar ke sir pe.

15. Jat ka reservation ko support karna aur oppose karna bheet me sir marne jaisa hai. Is se reservation pe koi asar nahin padta. Aur chup baithna sumunder me doobne jaisa hai where very fast he is sinking and heading towards bottom. To bhai ab haath paanw te marne hi padenge tairne ke liye.

16. Jat reservation ko ek ghar ka halwa samajh ke baat kar rahe hain.Ye Haryana ka Jat itne serious halat me bhi aise aintha baitha hai jaise Taayee thali me use halwa paros rahi ho. Ukk beta halwa kha le, na tayee me na khata is halwa ne.

Bhaiyo hum bhi aap jaise hi Jat hain abhi to aap log aise mana kar rahe hain jaise ghar ka halwa ho per jab aap log haan bhi kar doge to koi aap ko koi ye itni asaani se nahin dene wala. You have to fight for it. You have no other option. Sooner is better.

Emirates target India real estate

Hahahhaa..!
:)

SirJi baat ye hai ki JATLAND par jab hum aate hain naa to Dimaag se Jyada DIL ka istemaal karte hain.

JatLand par log apne VIEWS par STUCK ho jaate hain.
I am observing it since 5/6 years.
I have rarely observed ki kisi ne apne VIEWS koi thread padhne ke baad change kiye ho.
Jisne jo kah diya bas kah diya..!
Thread lumbi hoti jaati hai..but..baat wahi ki wahi rahti hai..!
Kahin na kahin humaara EGO beech me aa jaata hai.

........If I said something wrong...EXCUSE ME

Baaton ko kitna bhi ghuma phira diya jaaye but such to such hi rahta hai.

& the truth is we should look to some alternate solution of reservation.
We are an agriculture based caste. Agar itni zameen hone ke baad bhi reservation ki zaroorat padti hai to
...jara sochiye galti kis ki hai..?

Anyway I am nothing different...wherever JATLAND as of whole goes I will follow the same. I am agree to the majority...whatever be the decision.

If a person have calibre, he doesn't need to look up for anyone. Only weaker people admire and praise the Kings.

Let people cheer up and celebrate some famous person's success (whatever the community) and feel satisfied.

I don't think it's a breaking news that KP SINGH is professional businessman.

Bill gates is much more respectable than Ambani's, Tata's, Mittal's, Singh's etc as he also works towards the upliftment of the society and development.

Genuine person always admire qualities and deeds of the people and praise for that in balanced words which seems realistic and practical. They can't praise and admire almost every person in a given single day.

Dear Sir,
Thanx for the positive response,

But I would like to tell you

Sh K P Singh Ji has maintained position among TOP 3 since DLF has issued it's IPO.

Well above Birla, Bharti, Wipro & Tata

Only Reliance Brothers are ahead of DLF as of individual wealth of the owner.

That even if sometimes RelInfoCom share prices get down DLF comes to 2nd position.

Sh K P SIngh treading well between 2nd & 3rd position in INDIA.

We would have been praising a company which has just come to the stock market & acquired Top Position whether related to any JAT or NOT.

But here it is the case of a JAT being among TOP 3, then I don't see any reason to deny Applause to DLF.

100 times hats off & standing ovation to Sh K P Singh Teotia Ji.

He is the one who shaped todays GURGAON like we are seeing around.

So just appreciating people is the only way to optimism ..... i afraid that only pessimist admires the tycoons instead of learning and fascinating to do something ........ I wonder how you differentiate between optimism and pessimism

Great persons will remain always great ....... with or without criticism.

Peotry can't be penned down with frustration ..... otherwise this Jatland wud have flooded with so called poets

Frustrated people just wander here and there .... and come back to vomit out their stuff ...... specifically or randomly ......... Never mind ....

Hope you are doing fine there ..... Now :)

whatever after all Mr KP singh is a JAT and doing well....it does not mean that we are spreading jatism or something similar......or plz let us know if you know too much about Mr Gates.......i suppose u dont even know about him.......he was a jerk untill he made some money by some means.....his donating money to charity now is just a way to get a positive influence from people like you.....

Reagrding KP Singh ... who said that he is not a Jat and not doing well ..... he is doing fine since so many years and being a Jat he is matter of proud for all jats.

I am just asking about the reason of overwhelming with joy and celebration ... Now ....

What i know about Gates and any other person is enough for me ... and even if i want to know more about them .... i can have it ..

It's gud practice to critisize others for not appreciating someone and then criticize the appreciated ones by saying that he is doing that to get positive influence .... Who donate money to get negative influence ..... do you ?

i hope u wont punish me for disagreeing with you Professor Vijay ???

You have every right to disagree on all the statements made by me and sometime later on the statements made by you too ........ :)

One more cheering moment,

Today was the last working day of Stock Market of the calender year 2008 (not Fiscal2007-08) & with the today's closing DLF touched it's new highest share price

Rs 1073 (with a 10 point rise since friday).
Just amazing as it has started with a share price at the time of IPO at
Rs 535

So it's more than double in just 5 months. It's a unvincible performance by any IPO in INDIA within such a short period of time after Reliance.

DLF has become the Second Richest Company of INDIA in terms of overall wealth surpassing Bharti.

Along with that Sh K P Singh has become Second Most Richest Again in INDIA just next to Sh Mukesh Ambani who's still number one & surpassing Sh Anil Ambani who's on 3rd rank now.

Sh K P Singh's weath has been recorded as $35 Billion for US's Forbe Magazine.

You can tune your TV channels to "PROFIT" & you'll get to all success stories.

Enjoy New Year & Add This Cheering News also to your count of happiness on NEW YEAR NIGHT.

Happy New Year & Wealthy Year for DLF

Indian watchdog clears the way for Reits
By Joe Leahy in Mumbai

Published: December 31 2007 02:00 | Last updated: December 31 2007 02:00

India's stock market regulator has issued draft rules that will pave the way for the introduction of real estate investment trusts to serve the country's booming property market.

The move will help prevent the lucrative Reit business going offshore to neighbouring Singapore or Dubai as Indian real estate groups seek ways to raise new capital to fuel ambitious development plans. "The timing of the draft regulations is certainly helpful," KPMG said. "Many Indian developers were exploring overseas listings through Reit-like structures."

Reits have taken off around Asia with most of the region's leading markets, from Singapore to Hong Kong and Japan, introducing them within the past seven years.

India's property market is enjoying an unprecedented boom, with the nation's builders planning to double or triple their existing property portfolios over the next few years.

Indian developers have raised billions of dollars on the stock market this year, led by DLF, the country's largest property company, whose $2.5bn initial public offering was the nation's biggest share issue.

But government restrictions on raising foreign debt for investment in property, and curbs on domestic bank lending to the sector are threatening to damp development plans.

Developers ranging from DLF to Emaar MGF, an India-Emirates joint venture which is also planning a listing this year, have already announced they are considering creating Reit-like vehicles overseas.

"Reits provide better access to stable, global and more competitively priced capital, as well as stronger and more professional property businesses," the Securities and Exchange Board of India, the stock market regulator, said.

Under its draft guidelines, Sebi defined Reits as investment trusts that buy stakes in real estate developments ranging from apartment buildings to car parks and shopping malls, and return a fixed yield to investors.

It said Indian Reits would not be permitted to buy vacant land or to own more than 15 per cent of a single real estate development and 25 per cent of a single developer's portfolio.

Banks, financial institutions, insurance companies and corporates would be permitted to set up Reits, with a minimum net worth of Rs50m ($1.3m).

"Reits can become the investment vehicle of choice for institutional and retail investors looking to participate in real estate ownership, management and development," Sebi said.

However, KPMG said the new guidelines needed to clarify the tax status of Reits and whether they should be exempt from stamp duty and property taxes on their investments.

Thanks,
Sumit
