Hello Burdak Sir,

I am not exactly sure of Omanandaji's gotra but of all I remember that my grandfather used to tell me about him was that he was from somewhere near (or from) Narela. I think I can help finding his gotra. My grandfather and Omanandaji used to practice 'Lath chalana' together in during their young days. And as rightly put my Deswal Sir, Omanandaji breathed his last on 23 March 2003 in Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi. Oh well, March 23 reminds me of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

Give me a few days and hopefully I shall be back with an answer on this.

This is great work you are doing which will consolidate the history of Jats related to a perticular date.

A small suggession from my side as It will be difficult for a person to follow the personnel history individually ... We should have to make a page in which there should a cross link .... i.e. when we click in a perticular date .. the importance of that date will apper with the page and the events happened on that date .... And if we click on the person it will take us to the perticular date on history ....

Oh yes, Swami Omanand's Gotra was 'Khatri' and he was born in Narela village, Delhi. I am putting this information on wiki page dedicated to him. Soon, I will expand this page to a considerable extent since I have more facts about his life.
