a sardar friend of ours invited us t her parents house for a party.she introduced us to her dad and said they are from haryana.her dad said -accha,me bhi haryana me raha hu meri posting hui thi army ki job me karnal aur najabgad.ji me clerck tha army me.
I can not tell u how much i am impressed by the simplicity and honesty of that old man.

I met a sardar ji last week in Norway who told us very simply that when he came to that country 35 years ago, he worked for a very long time as a labourer in the fields. Now he owns 6 houses, worth millions.

Earlier jats used to known for simplicity and innocensea and honesty but not anymore. But i have met lotta sardarji's who are simple, intellect and honest.

... Bade bhai saahb may be you are correct but my info says that all sardars are not jatt(jaat) ... i mean if u talking abt history to. They were hindus that true but not all jats. What i heard is Gurugobind Singh made a force to fight against Mughals. There he asked for the eldest son of family to be part of that army and he had to follow some regulations. He called them Khalsa/sardar. Thereafter, this grp turned into a religion. But most among them were jats but not all were jats. There were lotta other cstes too including panjabi, multani, sindhi and aur bhi bahut saari.

Exactly like in hindus, other communities in sikhism find themselves incapable to swallow jatts.:D They also spread hatred against jatts.
Most of jatts consider themselves from indo-scythian lineage rather than Indo-aryan. indo-aryan concept is widely accepted among hindus. Here the discrimination arises and separation among Jats and jatts prevails.

Removing redundent steps from the activities of day to day life requires lots of understanding and very few people are capable of doing it. Living simple life is akin to writing a computer programme with bare minimum number of steps. Simplicity has its own addiction.

Aur unke liye France wagarah se koi special pakshi(bird) ka meet bhi aata tha flight se. Pata nahi kitna sach hai ya jhooth par kaafi jagah suna hai. I have met as many breeds of men as I can and known that simplicity is a personal trait....Talking about Jats...hell ya....a Lot of jats are so down to earth.....But lets not confuse simplicity with looking smart and sobre...
One can be brand specific and highly fashionable and at the same time be downtoearth...(downy).....I hope enough said

RK ji I have no idea how u relate this topic of simplicity with Nehru (the first Indian PM).....I think we shud make shurre how Nehru lived his days as a politician bfore and after so called independence...(bfore/after1947)

simplicity has nothing to do with the race.I think the people who are simple have not any kind of complexes ,neither superiority nor inferiority.these are the people who are very happy and content with their lives and relations.they do not expect much from others and do good deeds without wanting any favor in return.
