Dear,
there are only free trial versions available, which will convert only 5 pages at one go, n that too with distorted images..
however printer companies do provide a software alongwith printer to convert word files into PDF, which convers whole document in one go..
so carry on your search, and if you find some tool, do let me know too....

Hi,
Please download free pdf virtual printer driver from following site.
http://pdf995.com/download.html
you have to download 2 parts
1. Pdf995 Printer Driver
2. Free Converter
Once you download above two things, install above mentioned files.
Now if you try to print any document ( excel or word doc or any other file)...you will see a printer in printer list ( pdf995).
-select virtual printer
- It will ask you where you want to save your converted pdf file ( provide location)
-It will convert and save that pdf file on preselected location.
Also it will launch an ad page ( thats worth...since you are using this printer driver for free).
Let me know if you have problem.

Dear Dana
Just go to following website, you will get all details like how to download, documentation etc.
Openofice is just equivelent to MSoffice with some additional features like export to pdf and released under GPL license means Free of Cost and running on many platforms like windows/linux etc. Even the documentations of OO was done by Bajaj Capital, I met his MD Mr. Sanjeev Bajaj. Just for the sake of your knowledge, now we Indian also the part of Open Source Movement.
Just search for openoffice.org on google, you will find the website of OO.

Hi all
just a quick note. all replies posted here as as good as at should be and will work for the file to save in pdf format.
if any using latest msword ,word 2007, you can save the file as pdf documents. it is so simple. Though i am fan and support open source but somewhere you need to use ms office which i too use but through WINE. in ms office you just need some patch and if some one intrested just send me email, i will let you know that.
