I believe its a commendable step by 'Rajasthan Roots' to make this quality folk music genre lil more popular !

When I was in Singapore, I have attended the concert of Rajasthan Roots at Esplande amphitheatre. Usually, Singapore-Esplande Amphitheatre have public performaces and bands/groups from different countries showcase their music.

Rajasthan roots' concert was awesome and crowd went wild at their performance, spl the rajasthani folk dance by Mithu Sapera - One of 'Rajasthan Roots' dancer.

Their genre, rajasthani folk-fusion is very different - though Singaporeans could not understand a single word, but they seemed to enjoyed and felt connected. Amphitheatre was jam packed.

It is just amazing ! I don't have any formal knowledge of Music but its wonderful. It sounds a synthesis of Rajasthani folk and Sufi sangeet.
In This video. this artist Kutla Khan not only sings well but also plays the traditional instruments with such ease and perfection! Congratulations to all involved in promoting this wonderfull folk art with modern touch!
Thanks Jeet for sharing this!
