Tau Deena in my village had a problem. The level of street in front of his house was low. It used to remain waterlogged throught the year. Tau complained to everyone who mattered. Nothing happened. Everyone would say,"Tau ye jhgade ka kaam se, aappke agge wale padosi ne is gaal ko or neecha karne ki demand kar rakhi se." Everyone would add in the end,"is gaal ka ilaaj to ib DC ke through hi hoga." This would confuse tau. Time passed. DC was there in the village one day, right opposite tau Deena's house, inspecting the situation. Tau Deena came out of his house, tied his dhoti to cross the street, for going to his fields. Some one in the crowd said to DC, "jee ab is gaal ka ilaaj to aapke through hi ho sakai se." After listening this, Tau Deena suddenly became wild, turned towards the crowd, caught both ears of Deputy Commissioner and shouted," aare Chore, je manne nu bera honda na ke ya 'DC KE THOUGH' bi koa aadmi ho se, is gaal ko to ib tak GT Road bana denda, "Mai to nu sochda raha ke koa machine hogi. Ek hapte mai ya gaal theek ni hoi ne, donu kaan pad ke haath me de dunga." There was big hangama after this. DC, being a jat himself, finaly understood Tau's angry reaction and accepted the ultimatum. Sure enough, job was done within a week.
