Hello,
Almost for all the topics, most of the members contribute by writing how much they liked the topic, in principle making zero contribution to
the discussion.Like i don't find any sense in ten people writing "ND tha bhai"...
I think such forums must be used to discuss things, rather than doing some sort of voting (well for that we can always use the rating icon).I think we must think about this.Well just an observation.

Hi Parul,
This is valid only in the humour section. I feel this is also important as it is an encouragement for people who are contributing to the threads.

Its good to comment on jokes instead of being monotonous.

Hello Parul,
You mean for topics other than jokes?
I would agree with you there,

Even i agree on topics other than jokes. Because topics need more of contribution in the form of content so that the thread makes much more sense and hence the discussion is more fruitful.

Parul,
Most of this happend in Humar section. In my opinion it is required and good thing to keep things alive. Though it was more meaningful when there was less traffic on jataland. But still good to have than jst rating.

Parul,
I think except for humor section no one writs ND tha.
people here give their comments.
for instance you find say 10 people have replied, but 50 people have read the topic.
so let it go like this.
Cheers!

Parul Ji,
Your observation is most relevent in Humour section though their are instances in other sections where we do encounter "one-liners"!
In my view for humour section its good as ratings are not displayed alongwith posting and even if ratings assigned by us is displayed also that too wouldn't give the personal touch to encouragement! Hope I make sense!
Thanks,

parul ji....
i think the "ND tha "is mostly or say entirely used in the humour section....n this really is required to encourage one for posting the stuff there...
even u must have noticed that only a small percentage of the readers do comment on the posts...which is really strange...i mean one can atleast place their views infront of others...agar protsahan hi nahain denge to kya faida...agar hamen koi joke wagarah padhne main acha laga to yeh hamara farz banta hai ke uski ahmiyat post karne wale ko batai jai...
haan...as far as writing this ND tha n all in posts other than those in humour section is in a way not to be welcomed bcoz such posts need frank n serious views of others...
