Thankyou Ashoak Bhai . A very happy Sakranti to you and your family and all the members of jatland.
I know two special customs associated with this day.
1. Roothe hue ko manate hain . Specially women give gifts to her inlaws to please them or to reconsile.
2. Aaj ke din nahate jarror hain . :)- for some of you who did not know . My dadi used to tell us ' ki chandaal baal do lo aaj sakraat hai' .

Happy Sankrat to every jat.
My mummy told me about this, which is a news for me, so would like to share with you.
On this day in villeges ladies changes their chundadi/Odhana with their friend(s). It is a symbolic way of makeing other friend lady her sister.

Ashok Bhai or Jatland ke sabhey members or unkey parevar ko makarsankranti key hardik badhaai, chandaal baal dho leyo, jo ruus ra ho mana leyo. ghar ka barna gosey silga leyo.
