The only problems money can solve are money problems.
- Frank M. Hubbard
Sadly, money in our society is often a yardstick of how much we can do. We sometimes begin to think money is the most important thing. . It takes money to do almost anything-but not everything.
Ask the parents of a dying child how important money is. Given a choice of money or the child's health, they would certainly take health. Money can buy big cars, jewelry, homes, and clothes, but it can't buy integrity, honesty, friendship, or love. Most of all, it can't buy sobriety. No amount of money can take the place of our new lives, or buy the happiness and self-love we are feeling today.
Today let me do my best to earn the money I need without believing it has the power to bring me happiness.
