As we all know that Haryana(even Delhi) does not have regular electricity and drinking water. Some might say that it is because of shortage, But if it is just because of shortage, how come villeges in Maharastra have 24 hrs power supply.
How to get
-- undistrupted Power supply
-- Drinking water
-- Good Phone connectivity

Is there any possibility to invite local politicians to talk about here on jat land on these issues ?

Good question ???

The public need to take initiative to correct all these problems.

1. illegal connections
2. power theft
3. Improper use of Water

etc. etc.

Ranvir Bhai !!! Politicians will come only where they get exposure and very unlikely we can get them here. At best we may be able to rope in only some one who is ineffective and as good as not having...

In villages we were told a story by our great grand mother;.." every night when the moneky is shivering in cold, decided to built a house next morning, but forgets it again the moment sun appears...Same is the strory of Indian Planners...It is not a technological issue, its purely a will power issue. All these problems can be solved in 5 years if there is a will. I am posting below my views on some of these issues;

1. Water Problem: Water problem no where in the world has been solved without storing the rainwater (purest form of water). Most countries in west (including very small ones) have built large water reservoirs which are beyond human approach. It is much easier to clean this water and supply for drinking purpose than the ground water which has many minerals and chemicals dissolved... In India we hardly have reservoirs...Most rain water flows to ocean....Even liking rivers is not going to solve the issue...

2. Electricity:.Often poor people are blammed for electric thefts, but its the rich and powerful who steal the most..everyone knows it. In north India the consumer habits have become so bad that no one wants to pay for electricty. result is no investment into power. Though politicians give lip service on privatisation, but most in North oppose it as they will have to pay for using electricity..In maharastra the main reason is that Tata power remained in private hands ever since it came in existence and things are fine because of sheer momentum. Look at later On project of Enron in very same maharastra...whole world knows about it...So problem in India is in our mentality ...and our mentaility has its roots in our religion...where our own individual deeds are responsible for everything...and that being the case, no one is willing to work for others and community, except very few...

3. Phone connectivity: Don't think its an issue now. though telephone lines are still noisy.

whole problem here is that people want controls to show their power...this comes again from our culture..where saas enjoys control over bahoos and father over sons...same animal instinct of domination .. So to me most of our problems are still social and not technological...Our mindset is the root cause of all problems...I know its a big topic and we can spend life time talking...

i have stayed in maharashtra....
and am a proud Jat from UP.
but here are some observations i have made when touring rural & urban maharashtra...
1) villages there are very clean
2) roads are by and large well maintained.
3) buses arrive on time & you can even reserve seats in advance and get seat numbers for any bus - no 'dhakka mukki'
4) busses park in their designated slot only - this even in small towns.
5) the rural folk wear clean cothes.
6) autorickshaws in most towns are better maintained than taxis in delhi. they even have music systems etc...
7) auto drivers are well turned out and polite.
8) people in general are quite peace loving and very rarely will you find a street fight.
reasons for all this ? anybodys guess...
the people there generally have a good civic sense, and are proud of their place.
up north unfortunately this is missing - people may disagree with me - but this is what i saw for myself and felt...
oh yes- i went to a sugar mill in south maharashtra near kolhapur -believe it or not it was like a garden out of a picture postcard. in the entire complex i did not find even a single left over sugarcane piece ! or any rubbish - even a wrapping papper....ofcourse well marked dustbins were everywhere.
it has a supermarket where the farmers can but anything form a needle to a motorcycle -
a restaurant where good clean food is served- a rest house better than most holiday resorts. and all this 100kms from the nearest town - 400kms from mumbai.

Bhai Arjun Rana ki bat bilkul shi hai.. mai last 11 saal se maharastra me hu.. social, Cultural difference hai , log disciplined hai.. Attitude es bat se samaz aa jat hai ki bus ho ya auto rickshaw.. log line me lag kr khade hote hai.. maharastra me 24 hour bijli es liye hai ki supply ke against recovery ka balance thik hai

Delhi ya Haryana ka asal mamala logo ke karan hai.. us area ka manas bijli chori karta hai upar se bill bharne me insult samzta hai.. to bhaiyo jb bijli board ka paisa wapas nhi aayega to nye plant nyi lines ya regular supply kaise hogi.. 1995 me mere ek IAS friend hai jo us time HSEB ke director the & that time he told me k 2000 caror baki hai.. log bill nhi bhar rhe hai..koyla supply band hone jar hi hai b,coz hum payment nhi kr pa rhe hai suppliers ki..

Jab kabhi tv pr Haryana ya Punjab ke kisano ka agitation dikhta hai bill na bharne k liye to Mumbai k log surprise hokar poochhte hai ki ..ki jb bijli use ki hai to bill kyo nhi???
Log free k chakkar mai ghane rh sai..jyatai bar bar netao ke tuchche lalach mai aajya sai…Devilal parivar ne apni rajniti yhi lobh dekar aage badhai hai.. maharastra me ab tk kisi politakal party ne aisa behuda nara na diya hai k hum free bijli denge

To bhaiyo logo ko suvidha lena hai to jo liya hai uska bill time pr bhar de aur chori na kre.. to koi dikkat na sai k maharastra jaisa example north me na ho

Har bat ke liye neta doshi na sai… log bhi utne hi jimmedar sai

Ranvir ji ,
It is high time that the politicians who are directly responsible for implementing these schemes should be brought on the jat land to interact with. Delhi members can take a lead to bring jat politicians on line.
