Yes we require JAT Bhawan at Delhi. In fact Now One Malayale Bhawan is being made along with school by people of Kerala and it has been tkaen up by all central govt. senior peole in Delhi and same way all many other have already made their Bhawans.
JATS being rulers of Delhi doesn't have one. But some jat organisation has to take it strongly and get it built if we have to keep our name in Delhi few years down the line.

Dear Danaramji,
What is the purpose of the Jat Bhavan in Delhi? Most of our community people live in a very close proximity to Delhi. Most of our areas are connected with Delhi with most means of transportation. People from Kerla or states far away from Delhi don't have similar previlages, so they do need it. I think, we could have these facilities made available to our community people from Rajasthan, Haryana and UP Bhavan.
I am not against having one, but first we need to establish purpose for which it is required. Who will maintain it? What would be the facilities provided to the people visiting Delhi.
What will be the management? How will they be compensated for the services they will provide. What will be their accountability to ensure nothing is stolen, from the property. What would be fines and penalties if they don't do their job responsibly. Where the funds to be raised to construct it first and maintain it after that till the time it becomes self sustaining institution. How it is going to be different from the Rajasthan, Haryana and UP houses. Will the common men get access to this facility? How the complaints of discrimination if any would be addressed.
I think, it will be a nice idea to have one, if it benefits the common men of the community, but all the above questions need to be addressed first.

I fully agree with Dana Ram ji...Why do we need separate jat bhawans in Delhi when there are jo many Jat bhais living there. Most of us have relatives also in Delhi..Eevn if one constructs Jat bhawans, they will become the ayashghars as I can see... What we need are the Jat Dharma Sahals near some big hospitals in Delhi..where patients can stay..

"Respected Col. Sahab,
You said "Most of our community people live in a very close proximity to Delhi. Most of our areas are connected with Delhi with most means of transportation" No sir there are many jats in india are living far away from delhi, and they dont have any relative or fameliar person in delhi, the jat bhawan can be big benefits for them, yes its right we need to manage it properly with good management.
You said "we could have these facilities made available to our community people from Rajasthan, Haryana and UP Bhavan"
No sir these places for high class men, i dont think any poor or middle class or comman men can stay there.
And also there are many many jat who will help economically and politically, but some one has to come forward "YE BEEDA UTHANE KE LIYE"

I have one technical point here, which might not be true through.
All the "states" of union of India have BHAVANS in delhi, funded by central government and state offcials have special access these facilities. So these BHAVANS serves similar purpose as many other govenment buildings in Delhi.. like parliament, rastrapati bhavan and so foth.
So the quastion of building a JAT bhavan on the line of "these bhanavs" does not make sense. It ought to be Jat dharamshala. or..may be having.. something like.. special entry for jat tao's in 5 star hotels, what Devi Lal did!
What about building a Jat parliament!

Dear Anuj Ji,
I dint mean to say build any star hotel or place like those state house's, i mean to say that we need any place where any jat can stay for a while (like dharmsala or jat hostel)
Hope you got my point now/////

Yes we Do Need One...but in New York & LA.
This could be a stop gap for new families...or new jats migrating to this land of oppurtunity.
This could also be done in New Jersey.
Not in delhi....no use !
Just a thought !!

Jat Bhavan in Delhi,
the idea does sound very good, but all I want to say is that other than the fact of Delhi being the capital, it would not be fair or even justified to make that Jat Bahvan in Delhi.
I say this bacause, although Jats are "rulers" of Delhi, but the according to my experiance Jats from Delhi have not made any conrtibution to the Jat socitey or community, rather on many points they have been embarassment to our community.
We Delhi Jats happen to be one of the most prosperous ones in the whole Jat community, but this prosperity actually became sort of a curse and instead of doing good to the community or others, Delhi Jats rather went down the drain, and today our status and position is in desperate need of renaissance. Although looking at the present state expecting the renaissance is certianly quioxtic.
We Delhi Jats are frequently in news for killing one another (especially in gang wars of Najafgarh), we Delhi Jast are notorious for spoiling the lives of many talented Jat girls, as our uneductaed and many times incompetent Delhi Jat boys get married to them due to their strong financial backgrounds. We Delhi Jats were most severly hit by the introduction of Alcohol abuse, drugs and non vegetarian food. We Delhi Jats were the first in line to forget the good parts and morals of our cultures and we proudly kept that pseudo chivalry, bravery etc of being a Jat which does make Delhi Jats a farce. Our new generation is heavily influenced by the punjabi culture which is shamful and I can say even disgusting.
Jats are infamous in Delhi for being meancing, rowdy and uncultured, and whatever little good is left is also going away due to our Delhi Police Jats( which comprise mostly of non delhi jats) as they blow there dignity for petty sums of Rupees as bribes.
Thus, dont you think that if we want to give our Jat Bhavan the right image then Delhi might not be the right location for it, I agree that it is the capital city of India, but if it is a Jat Bhavan then what India has got to do with it, it can be easily made anywhere in Jatland.
Rather making it in remote and impoverished areas of Haryana, Western UP, or Rajasthan might be a better idea as it might provide some people with needed jobs, and sense of community.
DISCLAIMER: I am a hard core Delhi Jat, and as an insider I do feel that I have more of a right to say as I please about Delhi Jats as I am one of them. If need be then I can also provide you with many more reasons for the Jat Bhawan to be in Delhi.
So, kindly do not change the nature of this post from the issue to of Jat Bhavan to something else.

Dear Amit,
Thank you for your sincere and accurate posting. Easy money and false pretenses have robbed many a Jat youths of their opportunity to lead happier and meaningful lives. There must be other who share this feeling.
Your analysis of cultural degradation when accepted will lead to an automatic conclusion that Delhi Jats need help in maintaining their cultural heritage more than any one else. What better way than a Jat Bhawan and regular cultural activities to breathe some fresh life in to the culture.

Certianly, we need a Jat Bhawan. This Bhawan should serve a specific purpose of educating jats on social, political and academic fields.Time has come to make all out efforts to bring unity in the community and motivate the youth to excel in the fields of their interests. This Bhawan should carry out multi facet activities to fulfil the future aspirations of the community.

Dear Amit
For as moment I thought you were very strict on Delhi Jats. But many things which you said are true to the whole jat community. Anyways I am glad the point was bought up and hope we can learn and improve.

Dear All,
I am very happy with the shortcomings brought out by Amit and Rohit. We really need to work on these shortcomings. Shubchand Ji have said rightly, that a Jat Bhavan with some cultural activities organized there to preserve our heritage could help. The question is how to attract the youth to such activities.
