We need reservation for Jats on economic grounds in toto.

I put my views three years back.

We are already late in this matter.

Dear Dudhee Ji,

The Constitution of the Republic of India says equality for all races, castes and religions.
This reservation system has been contrary to the fundamental value of eqality preached by our constitution and has done injustice to a lot of deserving people because they didnot belong to the right caste.

In medical, engineering and a lot of other entrance exams worthless duffers get admission because they belong to the SC/ST Quota, but deserving students who study hard and devote time and effort to their dream of becoming a doctor or engineer are left with broken hearts.

I believe this whole Reservation System is corrupt and needs to be abolished.
Unfortunate and weaker segmenst of the society be provided the means to excel in life like free education, pocket money for students and other facilities like free books and uniform to help them out of their misery and giving them a fair chance to succed.

But giving jobs to undeserving people just on the basis of their Caste is just unfair.

I advocate that social assistance be based on the Economical Benchmark rather that on the basis of Caste.
Not every Brahaman or Rajput is rich and privilaged, neither is every Chamar and Khati poor and illetrate.

A lot has changed in our society in the last 55 or so years and now it is time for us to look back and assess what needs to be changed accordingly.

This Reservation Policy is for sure one of those things.

Jai Hind,

VJ Kharub
